Planning a 3kW rooftop solar setup in Odisha under PM Surya Ghar Yojana and seriously considering a Sungrow inverter.

From my research, Sungrow seems to be a Tier-1 brand with strong engineering and widespread use in commercial projects. But in Odisha, most vendors seem to push local brands like Luminous, Waaree, UTL etc mainly because service/replacement is easier.

I did contact Sungrow India and they connected me with their Eastern partner network Solartron, but I still want to understand the real ground reality from actual users.

Would appreciate honest feedback on:

1. How has Sungrow reliability been in Indian residential setups?
2. Has anyone in Odisha faced inverter faults/issues?
3. How responsive is Sungrow support in practice?
4. Do installers actually help coordinate service properly?
5. How is the iSolarCloud monitoring experience long term?
6. Any regrets choosing Sungrow over easier-to-service local brands?

I’m okay with slightly slower service if the product quality and long-term reliability are genuinely better. Just trying to understand the practical ownership experience before finalizing.
