I suggest waiting to purchase the G16/G14. The 2025 was $3399 for the 5080 / 32GB and it came with 2TB of storage. Thats a $1400 increase with less storage. That doesnt appear to line up with the actual SSD and ram increases. I suspect they lost money on manufacturing 2025 models when the ram and ssd prices went up and are inflating the 2026 model's margins. If sales are slow they will drop the price. Stakeholders will eventually force the price drop when sales are slow.
