Working- but License Denied?

I’ll try to keep this short. I failed to receive my unarmed security guard license (which I need to work at Allied Universal in my state- TN). I just got the ‘denied’ letter in the mail. Problem is, I have work the next two days…I- don’t know what to do. Do I still go in to work? Do I just….do my job, and wait until the office folks return on Monday to sort out re-applying for the license? I read somewhere that unarmed guards can work up to seventy-five days before they absolutely MUST have a security guard license, so I…don’t know. I’m a bit concerned- I’ll be up for a few hours (preparing to work overnights). Any advice’d be appreciated. <.<;;;

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right subreddit (if it isn't, I'd appreciate being guided to the right one). But- I'm about to start a job where I would be working noon to 6:00 PM, Wednesday to Friday, and then 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday. I'm aware that such a schedule is basically going to wreck my sleep schedule (I've been going to bed at 11:00 PM and waking up by 6:00/7:00 AM for the past year). I need the job so I can actually get income and not end up on the streets, but...

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for how to make an at least semi-decent sleep schedule out of such a work schedule? Obviously I won't be able to sleep at the same times every night/day, and I'll essentially have to adjust myself back by seven hours weekly... It's- not going to be pleasant, at the very least. But,...needs must. Advice, tips, tricks, etc., are very much welcome and appreciated.

I'd turn down the job offer, but I can't really afford to, and none of the other jobs I've applied to have reached out to me in turn, so...can't really turn away from this.
