Destiny of Krem after the movie.

Destiny of Krem after the movie.

I'm not sure if this counts as a spoiler for the movie, but if you've read Woman of Tomorrow, you know that Krema isn't killed in the end.

“Unless Lobo is hunting for his head”

In the comics, Krem was thrown into the Phantom Zone, but considering that DC Comics is currently running a storyline with Salvagen…

So what are the odds that Krem will be shoved there instead of the Phantom Zone?

Yeah, I get it—Krem hasn't shown up anywhere else since WOT. But after the movie, the character might become more popular, and we'll get more stories featuring him, both in the DCU and in the comics.

Outlaws: Ultimate Roster Day 3

Rose takes the third spot, having received the most votes and mentions.

Okay, who's next?

Rules:

-One person must explain why their candidate should be on the team; if they don’t, I won’t even consider them.

–Candidates who follow the first rule will be added to the team if they have the most votes in their comment or the most mentions in the comments.

Outlaws: Ultimate Roster Day 2

Okay, I was expecting something like this. I hear you.

Here’s Roy in second place: Let me make it clear right away that if it were up to me, neither Artemis nor Roy would be on this roster. But the lack of clear rules is my fault, so I’ll take the responsibility.

But let's stick to the rules:

-One person must explain why their candidate should be on the team; if they don’t, I won’t even consider them.

–Candidates who follow the first rule will be added to the team if they have the most votes in their comment or the most mentions in the comments.

Outlaws: Ultimate Roster Day 2

Artemis takes the second spot. Why not Roy? He had more votes. Well...

Not a single soul has written in to explain why he should be on the Outlaws

Okay, it's my fault. I should have made that point clearer, but hey, you guys already pushed Roy to the top spot once, so let's do it again. (no pls)

Only this time, with an explanation of why he should be on the team.
Oh, and as you can see, there are six spots on the team, and two are already taken.

Choose wisely.

Now, here are the rules:

-One person must explain why their candidate should be on the team; if they don’t, I won’t even consider them.

–Candidates who follow the first rule will be added to the team if they have the most votes in their comment or the most mentions in the comments.

Outlaws: Ultimate Roster Day 1

We all have a rough idea of what the Outlaws were supposed to be like. So let's imagine that DС decided to make an animated series about the Outlaws, in the style of Young Justice. (Fantastic, I know).

Who should be on this team? Besides Jason, of course?

The selection rules are simple: In the comments, write the candidate's name and explain why they should be on the team. If a candidate is mentioned frequently or receives a lot of upvotes on their comment, they'll make the cut.

Let's sum up everything we know about All-Caste part 2

Okay, I get it. I'll just throw out everything I know and hope that people will correct me and help me with this mess:

About 10,000 years ago, Drakar, the leader of a clan of nine people, discovered the Well of Sin. A source of evil power of unknown origin. Drakar forced everyone in his clan to drink from that well, and it transformed them into the creatures we know as the Untitled.

I'll go into more detail about them in another post, because this is still a bit of a mess.

The main thing is that at some point, there were more than nine of them, and like any dark creatures that had grown stronger than humans, they wanted to rule the world. But not everyone wanted power. And the group of the Untitled, led by Dukra, Drakar’s sister, raised an uprising against their own brothers.

We don't know how it went, but the fact is:
for 10,000 years, Drakar was unable to do anything.

The Dukra group will become the All-Caste itself and devote itself to destroying the remaining Untitled.

However, at some point, a truce will be declared between the Untitled and All-Caste. We don’t know the details, but the fact is that there was a group of the Untitled who followed it and lived among people. Others went underground—so deep, in fact, that they dug their way to hell, where they began making pacts with demons to gain strength and destroy the All-Caste.

Details about the All-Caste and the Untitled will be in the next post; again, if you have anything to add, please write.

The whole point of this is to gather all the information available to us.

Let's sum up everything we know about All-Caste

I want to gather all of All-Caste lore together so I can figure out how to fix it and make it work.

Well, let's start from the beginning:

About 10,000 years ago, Drakar, the leader of a clan of nine people, discovered the Well of Sin. A source of evil power of unknown origin. Drakar forced everyone in his clan to drink from that well, and it transformed them into the creatures we know as the Untitled.

Is that right? If so, please continue, because I'm honestly not sure how things unfolded from there... I'd appreciate any help.

Where's my boy?

The last time we saw it was in Chasm: Curse of Kaine. And after that, he went off the rails. Not to mention that all his stories after Spider-Verse always revolved around Ben.

I get that there are a ton of Spiders in the main universe,

Okay, if you don't want to use Kain, then let him and Aracely go back to Houston or Mexico. Let them be happy instead of having to clean up after Ben or Peter.

OG Outlaws: Opinions years later

I'd like to hear an honest opinion about this team. Honestly, I don't really like them myself, because of Starfire and Arsenal. They're clearly not performing as well as they should be.

But maybe there's another perspective?

"I'm just as good as..." the core of Jason Todd's character

In the pre-crisis universe, Jason had to prove that he was just as good as Dick to simply be Batman's partner. And even after Dick approved Jason as Robin, he still had to prove that he was worthy.

Worthy of being Robin, worthy of Bruce/Batman's love and attention.

In the post-crisis world, the situation hasn't fundamentally changed. And the situation with Garzonas is proof of that. It doesn't matter whether Jason killed him or not, what matters is that Batman didn't even want to look into it.

I just took Robin away from him because a “killer” can't be Batman's partner.
And as a result, this evolved into “I can be better than Batman” during the Red Hood era.

But he never had the chance to prove it.
Thanks, DC.

Killing is the last measure, right?

I mean, we all agree that Red Hood isn't a Punisher who kills people just for committing a crime, right? The Joker, Professor Pig, and the like deserve to die, but that doesn't mean Red Hood should go around killing everyone, right?

The root of all Jason's problems: No one in the DC knows what to do with him.

The title speaks for itself.

This topic seems to have come up in the comments more than once, but I don't think it would be too hard for us to list all the controversial decisions they've made regarding Jason throughout his history.

Because they simply didn't know what to do.

Does anyone know why Jason was added to Batman Inc. as Wingman?

I read all of Jason's appearances as Wingman, and realized it didn't make any sense. He basically did nothing there.

Maybe there were some plans for that? Because if not, it looks stupid.

What if Prince of Gotham took place after UTRH?

Just imagine Bruce's shock when he last saw Jay—he looked like this. And then, a little while later, he sees a news report about Jason Todd's return...

Because the Prince of Gotham arc is interesting in that neither Bruce nor Batman can do anything to Jason, while he, as Red Hood, can do whatever he wants...

So imagine the scale of the operations Jason could have carried out if the Prince of Gotham had been the second arc after UTRH.

Red Hood no longer needs Batman’s approval. Now Batman will need Red Hood’s approval.

know, it sounds too unrealistic, but who cares...

Only I got the impression that Absolute Batman is just a correctly represented Red Hood?

The first thing that led me to this conclusion is Absolute Batman moral code.
He doesn't want to kill, but:

Black Mask is blind, at the very least.

I didn't think he expected Bane to survive that shot.

He didn't kill Ivy, but he broke her heart.

In other words, he's dangerously close to the line, even though he hasn't crossed it. Because as long as there was a chance, he didn't do it. But after recent events...

I think he'll do it after all, because what he's fighting against isn't so easy to kill. Even if that's not the case, there are still other parallels that you can probably see for yourselves...

Would it be a hot take to say UTRH is the root of all of Jason's problems?

This isn't about the quality of the story itself, but rather about the fact that:

  1. People don't read/watch the story, but they still interpret it in their own way.

  2. For many, this is the only role in which they see Jason: a son angry at his father, and the reasons for that don't matter. And they don't want that to change.

Red Hood and Deathstroke Relationship

In most stories, they get along just fine. By their standards, anyway.

But it’s an interesting story in the canon. Is there something interesting here? Or is all the really interesting stuff in Elseworlds?

Favourite story about Red Hood

We're not talking about the best or worst Red Hood or Jason comics. We're just talking about our favorites.

My personal favorite is “Batman: White Knight Presents: Red Hood”. Simply because it's one of the few good stories about Jay that doesn't revolve around bats.

Do we really need another adaptation of UTRH?

I’ve seen so many people say they want to see UTRH as part of DCU, but is that really necessary? I mean, at this point, UTRH is literally our Uncle Ben.

Everyone knows this story, even if they don’t fully understand its meaning... So what do you think? Honestly, if Red Hood ever shows up in the DCU, it would be better to keep the events of UTRH as a flashback.

Because, honestly, I'd like to hear something new about the character, not just the same old story over and over again.

Robin and Batman: Jason Todd

It seems like people automatically dislike this story. In other words, I’ve hardly ever seen anyone offer a critical assessment of it.

So, what do you think? Where did this story go wrong? What's good about it?
