what are you doing with bcom?
seniors, if you're a bcom hons/bcom prog student, what else are you pursuing alongside the degree? is it any professional course or online certifications or prepping for entrances or anything else?

i have taken admission in goenka (morning shift) and there is a good possibility that I get a good south campus DU college for bcom hons/bcom program. the thing is, I'll be pursuing CA and many DU students complain about how hectic it can get with the college timings. meanwhile it wouldn't be the case with goenka i think. plus i wouldn't have to wait until bachelors to end for articleship either given that I clear inter within 3 years. but again, others say DU has a better brand value and gives a greater exposure. im really confused now. also, im not from kolkata neither delhi. ki kori?
jesus & mary
gargi college
daulat ram college
sgtb khalsa college
ive gone through reviews online but people have mixed opinions on all these colleges 🫠 also, I'll be prepping for CA alongside.
i got admitted into goenka morning. however I've been reading so much about classes not happening and the college life being pretty dull. hence, im reconsidering whether I should really go ahead with goenka.

i came across seniors saying scottish is better in terms of classes, teachers and peaceful campus.

I'll be pursuing CA alongside and i feel like i can manage it along with either college. it's the college itself I'm concerned about cuz I don't wanna regret attending it.

id appreciate more perspective on this 🙇🏻♀️
is attendance for the first couple of weeks mandatory/very important for freshers? is it alright if I attend classes from august/late july instead of 6th july straight up?
wbcap portal says classes begin from 6th July. but do classes REALLY begin so early? 😭
id still be making and confirming decisions regarding other colleges at that time. i might get into goenka morning, so if I accept the admission and do all the formalities, it's not necessary to attend classes so early right?
also what's the accommodation scene there? im not from west bengal so the area is unfamiliar to me. would you suggest pgs or hostels?
non math here.
yes ik it's only 5. im not from west bengal so i don't think it's worth it to move out for any other college (ive applied for scottish church too) i do have other colleges under different unis under consideration but these are the ones under CU. so, are these good? do I need to add or remove any considering the context?
I am a bit lost here. I would appreciate any kind of guidance/help! 🙇🏻♀️
I want to pursue bcom hons (non math student here).
I scored 97.2 % under CBSE board (best of 4 is 97.75%).
I have given CUET which went alright but well, it's very luck based. I'm hoping to get a good DU college but as a back up, I'm considering colleges under CU.
I have applied for Scottish Church College so far. Should I apply for Goenka and JD Birla? What would you recommend?
Most importantly, I'm not from West Bengal. I have a few relatives here but the city would still be entirely unfamiliar to me. Would it be worth it to move to a whole different state for any of these colleges?
