1. Should background characters be promoted? Would you like to see completely background characters (like Inogashira Kokoro or Saki Yamashita) get fleshed out and promoted into actual side, secondary, or even main characters with their own subplots?

2. What happens if major characters get expelled? If several current main or secondary characters get expelled till the end of year 3, Should those empty slots be filled by promoting existing background characters to keep class numbers up, or should the cast just shrink to keep the focus tighter?

The Dilemma: On one hand, promoting background characters could bring fresh dynamics. On the other hand, some of the characters we already have aren't developed enough yet, so adding or promoting more people would just bloat the story and take away precious screen time.
