Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks

Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks

Earlier I posted asking help on how to automate crafting the different inks in Iron's. One guy gave me the idea to use a pattern provider and after a WHILE of fooling around with sequencers I decided on SFM. Here is the SFM script.

For this exact setup you will need:

  • Factory Manager
  • Label Gun
  • Program Disk
  • Simple Clicker (Advanced one if you want to have the entangled block)
  • Alchemist Cauldron
  • 2 Storage blocks
  • Comparator
  • Alchemist Cauldron
  • ME Buffer
  • Pattern Provider
  • 4 Level Emitters
  • 4 Crafting Cards
  • A not gate
  • A timer
  • Some redstone

This is the completed setup with labels shown. It is far from perfect, but is what I settled on. SFM puts sticks in a barrel to signal the clicker from Just Dire Things. This avoids it constantly removing the ingot from the brewer. Set the clicker to the redstone high mode. The buffer is just there to auto pull items from the provider.

Setup your patterns like this.

Lock the crafting until a result is returned.

Level emitters into a not gate and a timer set at 5 ticks.

You can simply change the code to "every 20 ticks do" if you want to avoid this part.

I did it so that SFM does not run when there is no craft ongoing and to make it run faster. The level emitters have crafting cards and are set to emit while crafting. The redstone is fed into a not gate from More Red but ofc you can do the classic redstone fed into block holding a redstone torch. The timer from RFToolsUtility has "pause while redstone active" checked and I have it set to 5 ticks. It is probably important to match the tickrate of the clicker to the timer.

You can replaced the entangled block with the brewer itself as well as a simple clicker.

Automate Day and Clear Weather

Hi everyone, thought I would make a post showcasing a simple way to automate permanent daytime and clear weather.

You will need as follows:

  • 2 Modular routers
  • 4 Activator modules
  • 1 World reader
  • 2 Redstone writer
  • 1 Logic cable
  • 2 Variable card
  • 2 Ritual brazier
  • Tablet of sunrise and cloudshaping automated as well as a way to get them into the routers

Place down your logic cable, world reader on top, and redstone writers on either side. You want to put a blank variable card into the "Weather: Rain" and "Is Night" sections of the world reader. Then place one in either redstone writer. The modular routers placed on the pointy end of the writers. Then two activator modules go in each. Configure the modules to output on the side of the ritual brazier. Make sure the routers are configured in eco mode and pulsed mode (top right) to avoid using multiple ritual tablets. Input the respective tablets in each router (based on the variable card in the redstone writer pointing at that modular router).

The world reader both allows us to configure the variable cards and sends information to the redstone writers.

Redstone writer with the \"Is Night\" variable card. Top slot is important in this setup.

Each modular router should look like this. Eco mode, pulsed, and the activator modules in there. They may or may not have to be spaced apart.

My beautiful lawn base

Honesty I don’t know what else to call it. It is somewhat organized and from the ground I really dig the look, maybe more of a city base.

Even though I’m mid-game, would anyone be interested in joining? I’ve been playing mostly solo for the past month and would love someone to chill with/offer more design variety.

Hardware for a Server Running ATM10

Hello everyone,

I have been playing ATM10 and highly enjoying it. I went from hosting on my own PC to renting one so that it could be on all of the time, allowing friends to join, but of course all server hosts tend to be pretty bad and it just lags under very little load.

So this is where I would like to buy my own dedicated hardware. What are some minimum specs I should be looking for. I've got some ideas, such as R7 and, preferably, 32GB of DDR5 and an NVME. Are there any good prebuilt brands or would I be better off buying something from eBay? I'd like to stick to around $500 but don't mind going over a few hundred dollars if it would really give me what I am wanting.

Also, would an X3D chip give much benefit?

Sharing world between server and prism instance

Hello, I have been playing ATM10 on an instance of prism and decided to make a server for friends. I made a symlink then junction in the server directory so I can get on by myself without launching the server.

It seems to work fine, except for the fact that my players location isn’t saved when I switch between playing on the server and locally. Not a big problem but it makes me worry what else might not be saved. Should I try other options.

TLDR: Player location not saved when playing on junctioned folder.

Tachometer intermittent

Hi everyone, I have recently had trouble with my car. It is a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with 170,000 miles. Sometimes when starting it takes a bit longer and the tachometer does not come up, and runs really rough (seems to be in limp mode). If I turn off and recrank it will come back up and the car runs fine once again.

Sometimes this also happens when driving. Tachometer dies and engine loses lots of power, running rough at low rpm. At idle if this happens it normally just dies. Never has a problem restarting.

Any ideas? I was thinking crank or cam position sensor, even the ecm after researching but I’m not sure. Hoping it would be something I could change myself reasonably. Any ideas? Check engine is on but if I’m remembering right it was related to oxygen sensor. Changed all filters and that changed nothing.
