So I checked into my command about a month ago and we’ve been paid twice since then. My first paycheck was abnormally large for a 3rd class, it was $2700 and I’m only an E4. Then this last paycheck was $600. Is this normal when checking into a new command?

Hello, me and my gf are moving to the area in July. Does anyone have good recommendations for studio or 1 bedroom apartments in the area? Is a budget of $1300 a month unrealistic dos the area?
