Paul's SNL performances
Somebody a while back posted pretty much all of Paul's performances on SNL but I think got taken down. Is there a way to bring them back up?
Also not all of them are on peacock.

Within the shelter of the night
Solace and sorrow become so alike
It's so wonderful to dazzle myself in my mind
Where truth can't break through and find
That I've tried so hard to deny all that is real
And how I've been trapped in my own illusion
Yes, I am wrapped
In my conscience , ridden with confusion
And I ask
Can I depart from these dreams now?
Can I leave them behind?
And can I face myself once again?
My words stun me as I read
Lines of unlived woes
Paired with scrawls to revealing for the world to see
It seems to scratch at my window
Begging for me to come with
But I just can’t seem to fit
And I ask
Can I depart from these dreams now?
Can I leave them behind?
And can I face myself once again?
A friend of mine
Leads me to the middle of a crowd
But I feel I'm desperate for time
To converse with the best and the worst
My mind has to offer
It's tranquilized all my desires
And has hidden me
Like a shroud
And I ask
Can I depart from these dreams now?
Can I leave them behind?
And can I face myself once again?
I do my best to deter
All mentions of what I feel
I suppose I have a few to confer with
Though I can't seem to open to them
It’s so hard to explain
The joy and toil within my brain
And I can't seem to find my way again
And I ask
Can I depart from these dreams now?
Can I leave them behind?
And can I face myself once again?
Were the songs of ROTS written in the style of Graceland? As in Paul and the band would record jam sessions, and stitch them together later with lyrics

There used to be a concert film online of Paul's show in Paris in 2000, I think it was titled "You're the One". Can't find it anymore, if anyone has a copy of it, could you find a way to post it in the sub?
When I wrote this, I had in mind an internal battle between the nihilist part of an individual vs. the optimistic side. In this case, the individual is a rather privileged guy caught up in his own minuscule problems, despite him being aware of suffering around the world. Despite his negativity, he holds faith that one day, the world will be healed (also the music for this is a fingerpicked acoustic guitar)
Was a lonesome night when the shepherd returned
With only a few left to confer
Nowhere left to scurry away and run
At a time when the river was young, and the world was one
And so he brought salvation
To the ragged and starved
His eyes shined of amber and rose
I woke today
Not knowing what to say
Nor what I could find
And I saw the river gleam from the sunshine
And I’d think
What a wonderful time to be alive
My friends and I, we drove from coast to coast
We picked up some souvenirs, some new clothes
We rested at a shop
And I glanced out a window
And I saw a homeless soul
His face laden with fear
In the corner, a child screams and wails
And I sigh in indifferent emotion
The homeless soul is now climbing the shore
At the will of the screeching ocean
As he carries empty promises such are foreign prayers
Oh but my hairs gone gray, my passions gone away
I’m in deep despair
I woke today
Not knowing what to say
Nor what I could find
And I saw the river gleam from the sunshine
And I’d think
What a wonderful time to be alive
There’s far too many people carving up the coast
Too much blood spilt into the river
Too much grief wrought upon the ragged Earth
Too much blood spilt on its turf
But then on a lonesome night, the shepherd returned once more
And salvation was brought down again
In his eyes shined amber and rose
I woke today
Not knowing what to say
Nor what I could find
And I saw the river gleam from the sunshine
And I’d think
What a wonderful time to be alive

Do you guys think this will be Paul's last tour? It seems like it as I believe his last few shows are in Queens, where he grew up.
Wrote this a little while back, I think I'd only heard Bridge a few times and didn't consider it when I was writing this. Are the lyrics too similar?
When your spirits aren’t at ease
I will guide you through the valley like a winters breeze
I’ll be your raft upon a raging sea
When the night comes forth
And you get shrouded in its dark
I will shine light upon your stead
When you find yourself starved
I will ensure you’re fed
I’m here for you
As a raft upon a raging sea
When you cannot stand
I will lend you my hand
As a raft upon a raging sea
I will help you through
By God’s grace, I will help you through
I went to Paul's show in Wolf Trap, VA last year, and it was one of the most impactful experiences I've had. If anyone here went to those shows, specifically the one on June 6th, could you post any vids or pics you took? Thanks!
