I don't understand, why don't Thomas Massie et al just turn around and run in the general as Independent?

It's wildly obvious the Republican party as a whole has been 100% taken over by Trump and MAGA, and with the numbers coming back on these primary elections being so awful for those few remaining in the GOP who actually stood up to Trump and defied the orange shitbag -- well, these are only Primaries after all. Why not just say Fuck It and Fuck These People and run as Independent in the General?

Permit me please to complain about BRIC and Ice Cream Trucks

Ah springtime, when the foliage returns and park slope is reborn in all its beauty. What a privilege we have to live right next to Prospect Park as well.

And then BRIC arrives and takes a giant shit all over our public space, occupying and blocking out a giant footprint with their ugly chainlink fencing along with black tarpaulin curtains as an added f*ck-you to the locals. Almost as soon as the green returned to the trees plop there they are and won't leave again until -- what, September?

Like, I get that this is a bandshell and what that purpose ought to be but the way these people just occupy the space is really offensive. Is it just me? They've got the fences clear up to the bicycle superhighway, taking over a very large swath of area, denying the public use of our public park.

OK, and then there's my second axe to grind -- the return of the ice cream trucks with their loud and stinking exhaust power generators running all day every day to peddle their $5 soft serve. These things are truly foul and I can't understand how they get a free pass. There's no catalyitic converters or emission controls on these motors and standing next to them one really gets an appreciation for how far we've come with regular motor vehicles' emission control systems. How is it that this is permitted year after year? One would think for the prices they charge these companies could afford to modernize their fleet and replace these petrol generators with natural gas generators or even batteries.

Thank you for listening to my rant.

What are these things I found in a box at a deceased relative garage? They're 11cm long, very light, and green. He had a Willys Jeep. Maybe a part of that?

I uploaded a photo of the jeep that he had too (I don't know the model). The similar color in these things makes me think it's some kind of part of that.

Where does one go to shop for electronic circuitry components? Radio Shack is unfortunately a thing of the past. Amazon is suck and only sells things in bundles. We (my son and I) are wanting to be able to go shopping for just one-off blister packs. Like Radio Shack used to have.

Does anyone know, is there a physical business for hobbyist level electronics?
