Started checking Zenvoya alongside direct, Booking and Expedia after seeing a few customers say they found lower hotel prices there.

And yeah, sometimes Zenvoya does come out cheaper.

But hotel price comparison is such a scammy little spreadsheet exercise.

Same hotel. Same dates. Same 2 adults.

Then you realise one rate is:

non-refundable room only no hotel points taxes shown later

Another is:

free cancellation breakfast included paid at hotel but €40 more

And the “cheapest” one quietly has a property fee due at check-in.

So now my comparison is:

final price exact room breakfast cancellation deadline pay now vs later property fees hotel points who helps if the dates change

Zenvoya has been worth checking because people are genuinely finding better pricing there, and the booking stays connected to the rest of the trip instead of becoming one more random confirmation.

But I wouldn’t say it, Booking, Expedia or direct is always cheapest.

The only honest answer is compare the exact same rate conditions.
