A tiny bit more life comes to the painting

My 11x14 acrylic is just starting to come out of it’s “ugly” phase. This is the part I enjoy

I did this little guy who’s 3x3 inches between my bigger pieces. He’s small and there will only be the original of him

We’re in the ugly part of the piece. It will get better, I promise.

These are the ugly stages of a painting. They go through many stages until they’ve arrived! This is an 11x14” acrylic on canvas done with brushes and acrylic pens.

I’m ready to transfer this one to a canvas and start laying down the acrylics!

This is an 8x10” pencil drawing for a mixed medium painting.

Finally done. This is an 11x14 inch watercolor on 300 pound Arches. S sweet rendering of the magical white stag.
