Home Depot Promo $649 advice

I’m considering buying this set. I typically use Makita at work. At the house I’ve got some Black and Decker I’ve had for a while, and feel like it’s time to upgrade. This seems like a pretty solid deal. Any advice?

Why does Pizza Hut sell bread bites at Target but not in Restaurants

Probably my favorite item that Pizza Hut sells, but seems to only be available at Target.

Good deal?

Is $2700, plus sales tax free, good in the current environment? This model has 48gb of ram.

HM Defence

I’m currently looking into buy a HM Defense HM50B250BMGFDE HM50B2 Gen 2 10+1 29.25” .50 BMG FD on gunbroker. I’ve never owned, or known anyone owning, a gun from HM Defense. Does anyone know if they’re any good? I’m also looking at a Barett but HM seems to be a better value.

Can you have too much available credit

So I currently have around $110k in available credit between all of my cards. My typical income I report is 140k annually. I’ve been considering closing some of my lower end cards; but typically I see advice about just leaving those open. I plan on applying for an Amex next year since it’ll be 5 year past my bankruptcy. I’m afraid of being denied, or receiving a lower limit, because I have too much available credit relative to income.

Is this irrational, or something that could actually happen? I’ve been considering closing my Avant card because it’s capped at 2500 limit, and I don’t use it.

Behind the scenes on a Balance Transfer

So I recently completed my first balance transfer to take advantage of Navy Federals Platinum .99% interest for 12 months on balance transfer. I have a couple more with other cards in the works

I understand the logic behind it, but what happens behind the scenes? Do they verify the amount with the creditor then mail a check or something? Does the other card just see a payment, or do they know I did a balance transfer? If I did a balance transfer for over the amount owed on my card would they lower the payment to the balance amount?

Thanks to anyone willing to answer my curiosity.

Best Buy Open box

Considering buying this open box at Best Buy. Is $3700 reasonable in the current environment? I’ve never owned a MacBook before, but I’ve been considering buying one for a while.

Navy Federal First Card

First NFCU card. Filed Bk7 about 5 years back. Biggest card so far. Next biggest is 12k care credit and 10k Discover. A lot of opened cards within the past few years. Been closing lower limits and trying for higher ones. Current Fico is 671
