This weekend was my first time buying a novelty popcorn bucket for a franchise I like. I paid $12.99+tax for it but it came with no popcorn. Some people on Instagram were telling me the popcorn is included in the price. Was I supposed to get corn? The food staff person just plopped the bucket on the counter (they had them in the back, not on the floor), I paid, and then they asked the customer behind me what they wanted as the next transaction. So I assumed I only got the bucket for the asking price.

Is it the same for the novelty drink ups? Are you supposed to get your coke product with it or do you pay extra on top of the cup for an actual drink?

EDIT: I emailed customer service and they said "as concession items and promotions (such as whether popcorn is included) are managed at the location level." So you can have one theater include popcorn in the price and another theater have an additional surcharge for corn.
