My mind is "loose"

A few days ago I posted about discovering Shikantaza and how I was gonna push myself to be disciplined and practice more. Over the last few days, I’ve been practicing a few times a day—some sessions are pretty chill and feel good, others not so much, but I’ve been learning to let go of that annoying frustration when things don't go super well...Today was a really, really good day. It clicked most of the time, and tonight I've got this amazing feeling, like my mind is all "loose." It’s like it’s been stuck inside a tight shoebox my whole life, and today I finally managed to open it up or loosen the box a bit. Hard to put into words, just a solid sense of mental comfort.

Shikantaza is INSANELY POWERFUL!

Some days ago I received some help from a buch of kind people from this group. I used to do a mind relaxing practice that some fellas here taught me it's called Shikantaza, one of you guys told me this is a powerful practice, and then I put more discipline to try to practice more.

So today I was practicing it on my way home (I was not the driver) and I reached a state of mind I have never even come close to. A really deep peace, sense of presence, wellbeing... I could sense thoughts and sensations (good and bad) coming and I was consciously able to look at them, smile at them, and gently ignore them (or not to engage with them).

I know I won't be able to reach this state of mind often so I want to practice more, of course knowing these feelings are not the goal, but they let me see clearly the path I have to follow.

Is letting my mind loose a kind of meditation?

I remember some of my first contacts with meditation was some Thich Nhat Hanh teachings saying to keep a state of "let go" on your mind, and then when I take a moment of my day to just sit or lay down and keep this state of mind I realize that a mindblowing amazing sense of calm, wellbeing takes place throughout my mind and body, my breath gets calmingly slow, and that sensation is SO SO GOOD that sometimes I even smile without notice I'm doing it. In this state my thoughts slowly dissolve, and all of this with me being in the present moment.

Problem is: I don't reach this state whenever I want it. And it looks like it's harder now that I'm on a controled med for ADHD.

Casulo estranho

Ele veio me mostrar sabendo que gosto dessas curiosidades.

Ritalin causing me chest discomfort

I already took Ritalin before, it was amazing, a heaven inside my head, but only for one and a half to two hours, then it started to lose effect (I abused a little). Now the psychiatrist prescribed it again and I'm feeling discomfort on my chest. It's not a pain, it's more like nausea or a physical anxiety inside my chest (does that even make sense?).

What could I do?

Male 46, 83kg. I'm taking 10mg, today I took 15mg. I don't feel that heavenly feeling I felt before.

X8 Pro Max with UFS 3.x instead of 4.1

I recently got X8 Pro Max and was excited for it to be UFS 4.1, but when I ran Antutu, it showed the storage version is 3.x and not 4.1.

Read on Google it could be a reading issue from the Benchmark app, but I doubt it.
