2nd IUI success but low HCG on 15 dpo- looking for success stories or honest experiences
I’m trying not to spiral while waiting for my repeat beta and would love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation.
Background:
Letrozole + IUI cycle
Triggered with Ovidrel 250
One dominant follicle (19.1 mm)
IUI performed about 36 hours after trigger on 6th June
Started vaginal progesterone the day after IUI
Currently on progesterone support
Testing timeline:
Around 9 DPO I started seeing extremely faint lines on FRERs
The lines stayed very faint for several days and didn’t show obvious progression
At 14 DPO / 16 DPT I got a Clearblue Digital that said “Pregnant”
Beta hCG at approximately 15 DPO came back 12.22 mIU/mL
Symptoms:
Significant fatigue
nausea
Pelvic discomfort/cramping
Brown spotting when wiping on 13 dpo
No heavy bleeding or bright red flow
My concern:
I know hCG of 12 at 15 DPO is considered low and my fertility clinic is concerned. They are repeating the beta in 48 hours.
I’m trying to understand:
Has anyone started with a beta this low around 14–15 DPO and gone on to have a viable pregnancy?
Could late implantation explain an hCG of 12 at this stage?
If you’ve had a chemical pregnancy before, how did your betas compare?
I know nobody can predict the outcome and I’m preparing myself. I’m just looking for real experiences while I wait for the repeat beta.
