Cancel and get half off for 3 months.

I got annoyed with the price increase and clicked through 4 prompts to cancel and gave my reason as getting too expensive. It went through. Next day I got an email for half off the next three months if I came back. This feels like an abusive relationship where the other side swears they will never do it again but you keep going back to them. No. It Ends With Us.

What do you do to get the best rate after your promo rate expires in 12 months?

I've considered going to Visible for a good rate. But, isn't that for new subscribers? What do you do after 12 months? Do you port out and back with another company or do you cancel service and then sign back up and get a new number? I'm enticed by the good prices but what happens after a year?
