how much should i ask for compensation?
Hi guys, i just helped my cousin with her comedy show in NYC. she paid for me to uber over from nj for free and i took photos of her 12 min gig. i then edited the photos and sent them over (took like an hour and a half). a few days after, she asked me to

that has all the pro cameras.
I have a PDF
Which identifies
all the pro cameras
Including B-Roll
And extra B-Roll.
One of the B-rolls
has video of people laughing.
Kindly keep in mind,
the first project is to have one video, one angle centered facing me (no edits of video)
This video should have
- The best audio of me delivering the comedy
- The best audio of the audience laughing.
- Only one centered view of me - you have two options - the video in the main file and the frontal view video of the pro file.

It took me about 2 hours to edit in the audience laughs and stuff. then she called and asked if i could crop the video more and change the start time and end time. she also wanted me to up the audience laughter and i did. after i sent her that copy, she face-timed me for an hour and a half, where i did small edits that she wanted. she was very happy at the end saying to let her know what i want for compensation and that I can work with her part time while I’m doing my Masters in the city. How much should I ask for? I was thinking $25 for 5 hours a total of $100 for this total. I have my BFA in Visual Arts with a concentration in Photography and Media so I did a decent job I believe but I’m only 22 with no real work background in this line of work.
