Surf trip for an average surfer.
So I’m thinking of places I want to take a trip to. I’m east coast US. I’m almost dead set on Nicaragua but there’s about 20 resorts to choose from. I don’t know how to speak Spanish so I feel that limits my independence from resorts opposed an Airbnb near decent spots.
I’m also open to Costa Rica or El Salvador. I went to Tamarindo and it was fun but I’m looking to go somewhere a bit more challenging. If that’s an option that folks would suggest doing that again I’m not against it. I missed a shot a surfing witch’s rock which is kind of the whole point I went there but it was a funky trip and not everyone was on the same page. This time I plan on going solo.
I dream of going to bocas del toro but I feel like I need more than one trip under my belt before I go there solo.
