HubSpot is still not great at validating data.
It's honestly one of the few things I miss from Salesforce. Validation Rules were so powerful.
Right now you can achieve most things you need with a combination of Conditional logic, workflows, and calculation properties. But it's long winded and not very user friendly.
On top of this if I want to validate fields being set when a record moves pipeline stage, it prompts the user to confirm they've filled in the requested fields even if they are all filled in.
I just want to pop up an error box when a sales agent trying marking a deal as closed without filling in the company address!
