Im trying to be a Gilbert hater but its not there

I really trying to find a single moment where Gilbert shows hes creepy. Thats the biggest issue about the show is this guy. Like this guy is just a decent person to Violet.

Ive watched this show a few times now. Gilbert is decent guy. Whats everyones issue with him?

If your qualms are are the writers okay. But the ACTUAL anime. Gilbert ane Violets "Romance" is actually respectful. Gilbert has the impossible task of getting Violet the fuck out of the war as soon as possible. Gilbert didnt want any of this..

Gilbert say his brother gift him her and hes immediate response was like " Are you fucking stupid? this is a little girl".

I hate Diddy Tensei for how big famdom is and Rudeaus. Gilbert isnt wierd though. Like the princess and the newsnpaper is wierd but the main couple seems normal.

I like the show. Dunno why Gilbert is hated. Like he is actually awesome dude whem you look at him. Am I wrong?

Innocent Characters actually being killed. No holding back *Heavy Spoilers*

When Stories Dont hold back ane actually kill Innocent characters brutally. When the story doesnt hold back.

I love when a story does this right and shows some people are just monsters in a good way though. They dont beat around the bush

  1. (Superman 2025) Clark fails to save Malik as he is executed in front him in the first round of russian roulette

2 (Dexter) Trinity killing Rita, Dexters love interest, and having her baby watch

  1. (Full Metal Alchemiat) - Hughes is killed and he never stood a chance. He did jothing wrong but love his family.

  2. ( Final Fantasy 7) Aerith dies. The most innocent person in the game to save Cloud bit was it worth it?

  3. (Arcane) Jinx executes a young firelight girl in front of Ekko for nothing less than looking like her older sister.

  4. ( Game of Thrones)- After Ned Stark insists on keeping his integrity and refusing to play by the Thrones games and others around him. He loses and is executed.

  5. ( CyberPunk Edgerunners) After Maines death. David chromes up.becoming the one thing true in night city. A merc only know for their brutality.

David Martinez executes a innocent mother trying to go home to her kid. The same fate that killed his own mother, he installed onto another.

What are yalls favorite Innocent characters/ scenes you didnt expect to be killed?

Do you think Edgerunners takes some inspiration from Black Goon Anime?

Rock/Revy-- Lucy/David have a very similar dynamic especially David as a corporate kid and Rock was a corpo too and Revy is a gang member , same with Lucy.

Dutch and Maine have a similar vibe

Roanapur and Night City have the same lethal feel to it.

Id like to think the two gangs would get along
