Edgeruners 2 Teaser but it's VHS (digital)
Well, I saw someone saying Edgerunners 2 has a 90s anime vibe. Somehow that got into my head, and I thought to myself, well, it would be nice if I could try and make it look even more like one.
Of course, I'm not really an animator, so redrawing it was out of the question. Then I thought of, at the very least, making it look like it was recorded in the 90s so I tried doing some color grading, audio, panning and scanning and then video processing, and that's the final result. I took some creative liberties so it may not be the most accurate, but I like it.
Made using NTSC RS in DaVinci Resolve for the video and XLN Audio RC-20 for the audio.
Edit: Reddit's compression wasn't kind to it but you can find a better version on youtube under the same title.

Weak kingsley spotted in season 1???
in episode 7 of Edgerunners, we see the list of runners, with our boy James Norris. but take a look at the far left portrait.. To me it looks EXTREMELY similar to Weak Kingsley; before he lost his fame and chrome. My theory is that the ones on screen are all people who went cyberpsycho, and that's where his fall from the top came.
