I'm looking at moving into the civil service and I get the impression project management qualifications help.
Are there any specific courses, levels of course or specific training institutes that the civil service prefers?
Oh and would getting experience with power BI help too?
I'm running a campign and a player wants to play a warlock but isn't sure due to the spell slot in balance.
I'm thinking of homebrrwing in extra slots for them. 1 1st at level 4, a 1st and 2nd at level 5, a 2nd at level 6, a 3rd at level 7 and a 3rd at level 8. So an extra 6 in total. Then making sure there's always 2 short rests a session.
Would this work or just make them waaaaaay op?

Edit a less op alternative might be to do the same progression but 4 1st level slots and 2 2nd level slots. As extra 3rd level ones might be op.
So I'm close to being able to save about 20 precent of my wage monthly. After buying a house.
I'll hit 3 months of emergency fund next pay day. No debt nhs pension.
I wanted to ask how people decide which of the below to prioritise and how much of your 20 precent of savings to put where? Is there a correct answer or is it personal preference?

Just got 4th level spells as a hexblade sorlock in cos. Which spells do people think are best to take of these?
Bashisment: great if it works but on a save nothing happens so it's a possible waste.
Sickening radiance great for undead but causes other players problems if they want to get up close. Also unless you put it in the right place people can just walk out.
Wall of Fire similar problem of people just walking out.
Polymorph great on a team mate but on an enemy nothing happens if they pass.
Psychic lance great but not consentration and only hits one person.
Vitriolic Sphere not consentration and no control only damage.
Greater invisiblity great with quicken eldritch blast and hexblades curse but no control.
I'm a Cbt therapist in the nhs 40 yo male. Band 7 on 56k a year (very fucking lucky I know!)
I'm burned out of the therapy game and need out of patient facing work. I'm considering a career change into the civil service probably into the DoH. Probably into policy or statergy.
I wanted to ask afew questions to see if it's realistic.
Would any of my current job experience be relivant to a non patient facing civil service role?
Am I simply too old
Is there no point because of cuts /recruitment freezes?
What sort of level would it be realistic for to be looking at starting at /applying for?
Would there be any better areas for me to look at other then policy /statergy?
Would there be any qualifications I could do that would help me be more employable to the CS?
