would anyone be willing to help me draft and review my statement of academic purpose for LSE?

hi! i’m applying to LSE for the M.Sc Human Resources and Organisations program by the end of oct. i had approached a mentor who helps out people with their application including drafting a compelling SOP but unfortunately they charged too high of a price which I can’t afford at the moment, so i turn to this sub. i have brainstormed content and have it all ready and will start writing my first draft this week. i’m going to be honest, it’s incredibly daunting and i keep putting it off out of fear and embarassment over writing rubbish. looking for someone to help me review my statement and give me constructive feedback. thank you!

EDIT: help for reviewing the SOP ONLY, not drafting it

scared of messing up my personal statement, asking for guidance

hi! i’m really interested in the MSc Human Resources and Organisations Program offered by LSE as someone that wants to pursue a career in HR. however, writing the statement of purpose is absolutely nerve-wracking, and i’m terribly afraid of messing it up. i have dumped away my life on a document but i don’t know what is compelling enough to weave into a personal statement. i am so scared of starting out of fear of writing rubbish and in turn hampering my application. i feel absolutely helpless right now, and i don’t know what to do. please do give guidance in the comments section, it would mean a ton. thank you so much :)

tips for writing statement of purpose

hello! i’m struggling with writing my statement of academic purpose and i need tips or even sample SOPs to have a frame of reference of how to go about things. i have raw material ready but i keep second guessing myself, leading me to delay writing the SOP. i really really do want to get this right, but im so scared of messing things up. please do help, i dont know how to go about it.

the program im looking at is M.Sc Human Resources and Organisations, i’ve read everything given about the statement of academic purpose on lse’s website but im just not clear on how to translate what was mentioned online into a distinctive SOP. thank you!

AITAH for not wanting to participate in my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary mass as an atheist ?

hello, my grandparents are having their golden wedding anniversary this coming week and are having a thanksgiving mass in celebration. the thing is i’m a closeted atheist, but i go to church every sunday in order to maintain a facade. my grandma wished for me to do the first reading for the mass but i am hesitant to do so. i’m at crossroads here; on one hand i don’t want to participate in these days but on the other hand, i feel the need to comply out of respect for my grandma.

is it worth considering the M.Sc Human Resources and Organisations program ? how relevant is it in today’s day and age ?

hi there! i would like to know your guys’ thoughts and experiences on the M.Sc Human Resources and Organisations program. i got my first taste of HRM when pursuing it as a course last year (i am a UOLIP student) and i enjoyed it so much so that im considering it as a future career avenue. the thing is though, i dont have much experience in general with respect to internships, therefore i am uncertain on whether if i would be a viable applicant for the program. nevertheless, please share your thoughts on the program. thank you!
