About to start first year ECE , at salt lake campus
Since the 75% attendance rule is strict, is it actually possible to balance college hours with self-learning coding
How rigid is the daily routine? Do ECE classes usually start exactly at 9:30 AM and wrap up by 4:30 PM, or do you get frequent gaps/free periods between lectures?
Since the schedule and attendance policies are known to be quite strict—especially in the first year—do you find any free time on weekdays to hit the gym or work on side projects, or do you have to push all of that entirely to the weekends?
Be honest about the Salt Lake campus infrastructure is it a cramped, school-like building where you're stuck in one room all day, or do you actually get proper, well-equipped labs and space to breathe?
Since ECE has a massive syllabus of its own (Signals, Networks, Microprocessors), do the continuous assignments feel like mindless busywork (like copying down endless lab files by hand), or do they actually help you learn?
