hey yall i just bought my first honda fit after wanting one for a very long while and my 2003 honda crv died.

it’s a 2016 fit and i know there’s a common issue with the fuel/mpg/miles/time gauge on the right side of the instrument cluster not turning on sometimes. mine seems to work after the car gets warm or if it’s a warm day out but usually it doesn’t come on if it’s cold.

i think i can take it back to the seller and have them fix the issue for free most likely since it’s just a soldering job and i barely got it yesterday, however when i was driving home from a town 30 minutes away from me, my gauge wasn’t on at first but turned on as i took it on the freeway after a few minutes of warming up enough, it worked fine, but then all of the sudden it got stuck? the mileage, time, mpg, and fuel all stayed in the same spot not decreasing or increasing and that felt worrisome.

is this normal for this kind of issue? i’m home and parked now and it says that i’m still getting some mpg though it should be at zero, the time is behind because it stoped counting up, my mileage stayed the same even though i drove it home 32 miles, and my gas didn’t go down after driving it 32 miles. will this be fixed if they solder it or will everything continue to be stuck? also if they do somehow fix the display, will the mileage and stuff be accurate to how much i just drove it or will it count from where it got stuck at?

*i added the picture to show that i was parked but it said i was still getting a certain amount of mpg though it should be zero since i was parked and not moving. everything else was inaccurate with time, how much gas the car currently has, mileage and everything else

My grandma loves the hostess crunch mini doughnuts, for mother’s day i wanted to make her a cake that tastes just like those doughnuts but i can’t find any recipes. does anyone have something similar or can give me a good or easy recipe to create this idea?
