4 months on taz vs 3 years on tret.

Excuse the eyebrow in the 2nd photo. I’d had an eyebrow transplant 🤣. In the 2nd photo, I had already been on tretinoin for 3 years, but found my skin was still textured, dry and breaking out all the time. I switched to Tazarotene 0.1 just after this picture 4 months ago and the change has been unreal. I only have a few hormonal breakouts on my chin. I’ve just started HRT so am putting it down to that, but my skin is more reflective, hydrated and has really helped with wrinkles. I use taz every night and azelaic acid 20% in the morning. I’m one month off 45. No make up on either photos. I have lip balm on though

What are the must haves after surgery?

Post surgery must have request please 🤔

Thankyou so much do everyone who gave me much needed encouragement for my upcoming back surgery. I now need some tips on how to make my recovery as smooth as possible. My list at the moment has a shower chair, bed cushions, grabber and long handled shoe horn 😂😂.

I also want to get up and moving as soon as possible but know I won’t be able to drive for a while. I’m thinking I’ll need a cleaner, food deliveries etc. I’m single and don’t want to rely on my friends too much so any tips on making my life as easy as possible will be welcome 🤗.

For reference, I’m having TLIF from L5-S1 😝💪🏻

3 of cups and hidden meanings

I’ve been studying the cards today In certain pulls. I asked if the situation with my ex is 100% done. I go the 10 of pentacles 10 of cups and 3 of cups. When I looked more into the cards, I noticed the pumpkin the floor and the vegetables that they have pulled. I’m leaning more towards that this is a celebration of something that has been growing for a while and you are about to celebrate the fruits of your labour. It’s a lovely positive card 😊

44 and preparing for major back surgery 😞

I’m scheduled for L5-S1 fusion surgery in July. I’ve been training for 4 years and really trying to make sure I’m in peak condition in the lead up to it. I’m trying to tell myself that this is going to be a positive thing for me for the future, but the fact that I’ll be out of action for at least six months scares the hell out of me. Has anyone else had this with surgery and can give me some hope?
