Built a code-driven plasma drill effect
I wanted this drill to feel less like a normal drill bit and more like a concentrated plasma weapon. The visuals are built in Unity with code-driven layers: a glowing core, animated beam, contact flare, particles, pulsing light, and scripted motion instead of a pre-rendered animation.
I created anchor points on the walls for a better spread, but I'm not sure anchoring to the same position looks optimal.
It is still being tuned, but I’m pretty happy with the outcome so far.
