M4F Lets get to writing!

Hey! I'm 26 years old and ones again looking for writing partners who are 18+.

I'm open to pretty much any genre. I've mostly been writing slice of life recently, but I'm just as happy with fantasy, sci-fi, historical settings, or fandoms. I especially enjoy romance, particularly slow burns where the characters and their relationships develop naturally over time. More than anything, I love character-driven stories.

One thing that's important to know about my writing style is that I prefer discovering the story as we write rather than planning every little detail beforehand. Brainstorming and sharing prompts is great, but I don't want to spend days or weeks constructing worlds, outlining plots, or creating characters before we even begin.

I've found that putting hours into planning often leads nowhere when a roleplay never gets off the ground, so these days I'd much rather get an idea we're both excited about and start writing. We can always build the story, the world, and the details naturally as we go.

In fandoms, I mostly play canon characters. I'm happy to play an original character if my partner already has one they'd like me to write, but I don't create original characters myself.

I love writing villains, antiheroes, and morally grey characters. Flawed people, complicated relationships, conflict, and character growth are much more interesting to me than picture-perfect heroes.

I'm flexible when it comes to reply length and usually mirror my partner. Whether you write short replies or long, detailed ones, I'm happy to adapt. Naturally, longer replies take longer to write, and breaks are completely fine. The only thing I ask is that we don't start a roleplay with one reply a week—I enjoy getting a little momentum going at the beginning.

A little bonus: if anyone happens to want to RP in Swedish, I'd absolutely love that! It's not a requirement at all, though—English works perfectly too.

If this sounds like your kind of RP, feel free to reach out. I'd love to hear your ideas, get some words on the page, and see where the story takes us.

M4F Looking to make some drama

Hey! I'm 26 and looking for writing partners who are 18+.

I've been roleplaying for about a year and write exclusively on discord. I'm very active and can usually guarantee at least one reply per day if I'm invested in the story. Life happens occasionally and I might disappear for a weekend here and there, but that's fairly uncommon.

My reply length generally mirrors my partner's. Longer posts naturally take longer to answer, but I don't have a strict preference when it comes to length. I don't consider myself a novella writer, though I don't mind writing with people who are. The main thing I ask is that there's enough substance in a reply to keep the story moving forward.

Speaking of that, one of the biggest things I'm looking for is a partner who actively contributes to the story. I enjoy collaborative writing and don't really mesh well with passive writers who sit back and wait for me to make everything happen. I don't expect anyone to carry the story by themselves, but I do appreciate people who bring ideas, introduce complications, and help create memorable scenes.

Genre-wise, I enjoy slow-burn romance, character-driven stories, and slice-of-life elements. I love playing morally grey, morally questionable, or outright villainous male characters and exploring how they interact with people who challenge, tolerate, or even care about them.

I strongly prefer discovering stories as we go rather than planning every detail from the start. For me, some of the best moments come from characters surprising us and plots developing naturally.

As for settings, I'm pretty flexible. A few fandoms I enjoy are Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Arcane, but I'm open to plenty of others as well. I also have a handful of prompts that are easy to expand on if you'd rather start with an existing idea and build from there.

The biggest thing I value in a writing partner is honesty. If something isn't working, tell me. If you're losing interest, tell me. If you have an idea you're excited about, tell me. I don't enjoy guessing games, and I'd much rather have a straightforward conversation than wonder what's going on. As a person I am very considerate and don´t pry into other peoples reasons, if you stop replying the rp will slowly fade and eventually dissappear.

I'm also happy to chat OOC. Writing is more fun when you're comfortable talking with the person on the other side of the screen.

If you're looking for an active, easygoing writing partner who enjoys character-focused stories, slow-burn relationships, and collaborative storytelling, feel free to reach out.

Alright, I think that about covers it for now. If you have any questions my dms are open 😃.

Hope to hear from you soooooooooooooooooon!

On a sidenote, if you are swedish and wanna try roleplaying in that language.. I would be more than happy to try it 😂

M4F Less planning, more writing

Back again.

Apparently I'm still looking for RP partners, so either I'm picky, unlucky, or everyone is secretly terrified of good storytelling.

I'm 26 and looking for people who enjoy building a story together rather than simply reacting to one. Genre-wise I'm pretty flexible. Fantasy, slice of life, fandoms, adventure, drama, romance—if the idea is interesting, I'm willing to hear it.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is initiative. I love roleplaying with people who bring their own ideas, push scenes forward, create complications, and generally help make the story feel alive. I don't need every reply to contain a plot twist, but I do want to feel like we're both invested in creating something together.

When it comes to writing style, I can do both first and third person and usually mirror my partner. Post length isn't particularly important to me either. A few paragraphs? Great. Longer posts? Also great. Just keep in mind that longer replies naturally mean slower response times.

Activity-wise, I'm pretty understanding. Life happens. Work happens. Motivation comes and goes. Taking breaks isn't a problem. The only thing I'm really not looking for is a roleplay that starts at one reply per week and stays there indefinitely.

As for settings, I'm open to both fandoms and original ideas. Some fandoms I'm familiar with include Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Arcane, and plenty of others. If you have an idea you've been wanting to try, I'd genuinely like to hear it.

One thing I've learned after my one year of roleplaying is that I prefer writing over planning. I've had too many promising RPs disappear after hours of discussing worldbuilding, character sheets, lore, and setup. These days I'd rather get the basics down and start writing. We can always flesh things out as we go.

I also strongly prefer canon characters. Half the fun is exploring characters that already have history, relationships, flaws, and established personalities to work with.

Romance is welcome and probably my preferred direction when it fits the story, but it's by no means a requirement.

Also, if anyone happens to want to roleplay in Swedish, I'd be very interested in that too.

18+ only.

If you're interested, send me a message. Bring a fandom, a pairing, a rough idea, or absolutely nothing at all. Some of my favorite stories started with little more than "what if..."

I do have a few prompts lined up myself so if you feel lost and just want a writing buddy, I got you.

M4F Let me try this again.

Hey!

It wasn’t long since I last posted, but I really want to get one or a couple of new RPs going, so here goes. Today marks exactly one year since I started roleplaying, so I guess I can finally call myself somewhat experienced in writing.

The length of my replies varies a lot, I usually try to mirror my partner in that regard, and the same goes for character creation and worldbuilding. I’m a very considerate person and generally easy to deal with. A mix of chit-chat and RP is nice, but I do tend to focus mostly on the story at hand. I’d also consider myself an active user, at the very least I manage one reply per day, though usually more than that.

I’m 26 years old and from Sweden, so if you’re Swedish too, I’d absolutely love to RP in Swedish.

I’ve mostly written slice-of-life stories so far, but I’m eager to get into some exciting fandoms as well if that’s your thing. The classics are always fun and probably relatable to most people, Star Wars, LOTR, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and similar settings. I’m also open to watching a movie or getting into a new fandom for the sake of roleplaying, as long as it genuinely catches my interest.

I already have some ideas of my own that I’d be happy to share, though I won’t post them here. If you’re interested in hearing them, just DM me and I’ll gladly tell you more. To give you a small hint: I tend to enjoy morally grey or even outright evil characters more than the typical happy-go-lucky types.

I really struggle to make these posts entertaining at this point, I’ve written so many of them that I’m starting to sound like a parrot to myself. Honestly, there’s not much else I can think of saying. I’m open-minded and willing to try almost anything you might have in mind.

Alright then, hope you have a good morning/day/night, and I hope to hear from you soon! 😄

M4F It is that time again :D

Hey everyone!

Even though I’m a little early with this post, my one-year RP anniversary is coming up, and since a few of my other roleplays have slowly faded out, I figured this would be the perfect time to look for a new writing partner 😄

A little about me: I’m 26 and from Sweden. I’d say I’m a pretty considerate and flexible writing partner, and I enjoy stories that have a slight balance of good and evil. Purely happy-go-lucky plots tend to lose momentum for me after a while, though nonstop misery gets tiring too. I think the best stories usually sit somewhere in the middle.

I’m looking for someone at least semi-literate, but honestly, I think compatibility matters more than labels. Usually it only takes a few replies to tell whether our writing styles click or not, so I prefer to just jump in and see how things flow naturally.

I haven’t had much long-term experience with fandom RP, though I’d definitely like to explore it more. Most attempts I’ve had only lasted a month or so. Some characters I’ve written before are Silco (Arcane), Joffrey (Game of Thrones), and a bit of Miles Morales (Spider-Man). If you have fandom ideas or characters you think would fit my vibe, feel free to throw them at me!

I also have a few original prompts ready to go that are pretty straightforward while still leaving room for adjustments and worldbuilding together. My replies usually range anywhere from 2–20 sentences depending on the scene and my partner’s style (I tend to mirror energy and length pretty naturally). I’m also fairly active.

I think that covers most of it! If anything else comes to mind, I’ll add it later. Otherwise, I’m looking forward to meeting some new people and seeing what kind of stories we can come up with together 😄
