Is my Chefs knife haunted?

I recently got a new ”Chefs Knife” and its wonderful but the thing is.. it keeps cutting me.

Sometimes it feels like the knife goes out of its way to cut my fingers, as if it has a grudge.

Is it possible that it knows I’m not actually a chef and is therefore punishing me? I can’t think of why else it would hate me so much.

Asking because the other day I wasn’t even using it and my finger still got cut by it.

Recently watched Marriage Toxin and Kill Blue and very much enjoyed the casual badassery. no edgelord stuff whatsoever.

Not sure how to explain this but: the fight scenes were almost understated at the same time they were detailed, high-impact, and cool. Casual.

Also, the storyline isn‘t battle-focused. In both of these, the MC is a highly skilled killer but the story was like “looking for a gf“ and “back to school”

so basically:

  • Assassin or seasoned killer MC

  • Story is not about fighting/battles, those just happen all the time.

  • MC is casual, not edgy

  • Fight/action scenes are well choreographed and cool

Any recs? Nothing deep or serious. I just want fun and spectacle
