Is JJK super heavy with blood or suggestive themes?

I have a friend that reccomend this anime to me. I can't do heavy blood, like in chain saw man. I'd like to get into an anime series if there are anymore peaceful animes. I can answer more questions if you have any

EDIT: I'd love it if the anime has a dvd release for the us with both English and Japanese for learning. I am in the us if it helps to find one

Anime about a female relative (sister, mother, aunt) and a younger girl child? Like the focus is on that.

Something like ikoku Nikki, or my neighbor Totoro, or my stepmother and stepsisters aren’t evil.

Can you please tell me about some serious anime titles with at least implied sexual interaction?

Not looking for recommendations, just wanna hear something interesting about a show that I might not know about.

Keep in mind I'm talking adult fun time between consenting adults, not sexual violence.

Keep in mind that I said adults.

Keep in mind I'm talking about consequence free sex. Not interested in stuff where it leads to a pregnancy.

Keep in mind that I'm hoping that you'll tell me about 1 or 2 instead of giving me a list.

I said serious, but if you got comedies like this where the the two characters like this aren't over the top, and have half a brain, please tell me about it.

My favorite anime is like this. Also, the two MCs actually admit their feelings halfway through, and stick around each other on screen even after they admit their feelings, and have a fade to black moment. Shame that I seem to be the only one on reddit that cares about it.

Zetman has this as well, which i'll talk about in the comments.

Any good anime with a rough style and dark world setting?

dystopian is preferred but medieval stuff would be good too.

something like the manga Blame and Dorohedoro, and some romance themes? Or a focus on the bond of two characters atleast

loveeeee Angel’s Egg and Memories (Magentic Rose)

Any fantasy anime from the 2020s that would interest me?

I don't enjoy a lot of the newer stuff, as I don't care for slice of life, isekai, or anything in a game like world with game like rules. Nor do I enjoy anything where someone is dungeon crawling for most of the experience. I usually don't enjoy comedies unless the characters are super likable.

I also don't want to try a series that has over 30 episodes. I also can't handle anything slow.

I especially love anime starring a mostly adult cast, that don't act 12. It's not the only thing I want, but it'd be cool if you can point me towards some.

I especially love kind, intelligent, confident women like Lina Inverse(dub of Slayers) and and Lucy and Erza(Fairy Tail) that don't act like robots(Love the MC in GITS, and Claymore, but they talk and act robotic.)

I want to find more medieval fantasy that I can get into. Keep in mind I don't care for slice of life, or isekai.

Examples of fantasy anime that I love Keep in mind I'm looking for anime from the 2020s:

Slayers: Love that creeps get their assed kicked, and the anime doesn't ruin it by making them secretly like it.
Grancrest War: My fave anime. All adult cast that act like adults, and do interesting adult things.
Afterlost
ERASED
Blast Of Tempest
Wolf Children
Fate/Zero: Yes, I love this, get over it.
Madoka★Magica
Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed
Ringing Bell (1978 movie)
Stigma of the Wind
Summertime Render
Trigun
Fairy Tail: Just the first 100 episodes. Keep in mind I'm only looking for 30 eps max.

Not fantasy, but I want more with characters like these:
Black Lagoon: Not fantasy, but I want characters like in the the dubbed version of this.
Armitage III: Not fantasy, but I want characters like in this
Outlaw Star
Cowboy Bebop

Keep in mind I'm looking for anime from the 2020s.

Is this too much info? Do you need more info? Please let me know how I can help you give recommendations..

Anime that has a character with a raspy voice? (JP)

Do you know of any series where a character has a raspy voice as their normal voice? (Japanese VA preferred, but will accept EN if the dub is exceptionally good)

Some examples I can think of are:

Hiro from Inuyashiki (JP)

Maomao from Apothecary Diaries (JP)

Neia from Overlord movie 3 (JP)

Haru from Beastars (EN)

Naomi and Kenji from Bungo Stray Dogs (JP)

I love raspy voices, I think they're so cute and a unique change to when characters usually have either crisp, clear voices or soft, airy voices.

Looking for an anime where a female character genuinely solos and defeats a very powerful male character

I’m looking for an anime where a female character independently defeats a genuinely powerful male character in a one-on-one fight.

I’m specifically looking for an actual, unambiguous victory. I don’t want the usual exceptions where:

- she loses because she’s weaker
- her opponent was actually weak/inexperienced
- her opponent was secretly holding back
- she only wins because someone else helps her
- it’s technically a group/team victory
- she was stronger but never actually got the chance to defeat him
- the male character is defeated by circumstances rather than by her
- the story treats her victory as a fluke or something that doesn’t really count

Basically, I want a fight where the female character can legitimately say: “I fought this extremely powerful guy by myself, beat him, and there are no major asterisks attached to the result.”

Bonus points if the male character is someone who’s established throughout the story as being far above the average fighter and the female character isn’t treated as weak, comic relief, or disposable afterward.

I’m fine with protagonists, antagonists, side characters, villains, etc. Spoilers are completely fine.

Does an anime like this exist? 😭

Period pieces like Ascendance of a Bookworm/Apothecary Diaries

I love fiction set in/inspired by time periods like the ones listed in the title. I love the court drama setting in particular. Slice of life, mystery, romance, I'm happy with any and all of those things. I love just getting lost in the time period.

Both shows are also super colorful and gorgeous, which is a bonus.

Can you guys recommend some romantic/emotional anime?

Can you guys suggest some animes like toradora or higehiro? I'm a huge fan of romantic animes where they runaway because some don't approve of their relationship. Or the likes of higehiro where they become separated then reunite again. Or an anime thats just tragic.

It's kinda hard to explain but here's my cup of tea:

  1. Weathering with you

  2. I want to eat your pancreas

  3. A silent voice

  4. Toradora

  5. Higehiro

  6. Your name

  7. Plastic memories ( i love this 100%)

  8. Mirai nikki

9.sukasuka

Please i need more emotional damage. Also, i prefer a slice of life genre

Please suggest me your guilty pleasure anime

I have been active in the anime community since I was 10. I am now an adult (F24) and looking for some good anime that isn’t the main stream stuff that everyone recommends. I have watched all of that. I am ready for everyone’s guilty pleasures and anime’s that you were embarrassed to like. I love the cringe and old art styles btw.

Edit: I don’t like Isekai’s usually (I like “to your eternity” and “shield hero” (not that anyone commented that just an edit))

What to watch

I haven’t watched too much anime other than Naruto and dragonball as a kid. But I just ran thru Baki Hanma on Netflix and loved it. Is there any good fighting anime’s with good animation? I watched a bit of demon slayer and I had mixed feelings bout it. Thanks🫡
