I’m looking for a high quality school romance

It’s hard to explain because I can’t quite put my finger on what I think is high quality, but I can absolutely tell. I’ll give some examples though and I think you’ll be able to see what I mean just based on vibes. Not to say the lower quality ones are actually bad. I’ve enjoyed some of them, but they definitely have less depth and quality in various ways. It’s been so long since I’ve found a new one and I really need one.

Examples below.
Note: These aren’t necessarily based on how much I like them either. I like all of these actually. Just talking about quality, because I feel like watching one that’s high quality.

High Quality:
-Blue Box
-Orange
-Nana (more of a drama, but still)
-Your Lie In April

Lower Quality (not necessarily bad, but clearly less depth and overall quality):
-Horimiya
-Ramparts of Ice

Medium (somewhere in between?)
Extra, to help you recommend things so that you have more “vibes” to go off of
-Toradora (leans closer to lower)
-Insomniacs After School (leans closer to higher)

In the mood for something older.

Hey everyone,
always watching new shows is nice and all but sometimes the older anime just have a different feel you know? Something of the art and sound design just feels nostalgic.
Especially the way cicadas, rural areas and even stuff like trains are depicted.
Doesnt have to include any of these, just some that came to mind

What are some good older anime that i could watch? Im open for all sorts of genres honestly.

Sent back to isakai world?

So this may sound odd, but this is from my dream which seems familiar as I've either watched this anime or seen it in a reel or something.

So from what i remember mc and fl and maybe some of their friends are sent back to what seems like their last day in their isakai? World. When they appear people are surpised because space/time shouldn't be fragmenting anymore after a big battle that just happened. Not sure if they came from real world or isakai world after a reset. The mc is OP, but moreso in cunning and sidestepping than humongous feats of power. The world is slowly disappearing and there are people trying to fight them at first, then by the end everyone is just trying to survive. Mc isn't too worried about the world disappearing because he knows this isn't the end, but the beginning.

Help! Lost Anime seen pre 2010

While talking about late night shows w my partner, I remembered this anime coming on. I have no idea what channel or year specifically and I can't turn up anything online. I only remember seeing maybe 1-3 episodes. It had to have been made before 2010 because I was almost certainly under double digits when I remember seeing this. What I remember is very vague, the protagonist was an adult woman with dark purple or black hair. She could transform (?) To fight and had a purple metal bodysuit and claw gauntlets. Either there was apocalyptic sci-fi stuff happening or natural disaster, I'm leaning towards the latter (earthquakes???), and she was separated from her daughter. Im pretty sure the plot revolves around her fighting through the city in pursuit of her missing daughter. I remember a scene where the kid is in custody of some agents in suits and tries to run away to find her mom by climbing through a bathroom window. This is about all I can come up with after wracking my brain. I've combed a couple big publishers with no luck but it had a style very reminiscent of MADHOUSE's Claymore or other early anime where the women looked like actual adults and had that really specific not too pointy not too round transitional period artstyle. It was definitely supposed to be set in modern times. I made a fast sketch of what I can remember, I'll try to put it in the comments if the sub lets me.

What are some good FINISHED anime (with minimal fan service)?

Or at least, the manga is finished? I’m tired of unfinished stories lmaooo I hate being left on cliffhangers. I just wanna go through a full story and know it’s gonna be good until the end and I won’t be disappointed because it gets canceled or the author decides to kill their story or something.
So yah! Good anime that are finished, have an interesting story, and preferably with minimal fan service? Thank youuuu

Looking for a story like Gurren Lagann where the MC starts out "small" in mind, spirit and self-image, and with the help of a mentor (or mentors) grows rises to the challenge that comes into his life BUT...

BUT... without the MC having some sort of hereditary destiny or genetic advantage that made him a "chosen one." Basically, he reluctantly is called to answer the call to adventure and creates his own heroic destiny. Thanks gang and have at!

Help me find this anime please

I remember an anime where there are giant aliens Red, Yellow, and Grey, and the military need aeroplane to fight them and need to explode their head to kill the alien .

There's an alien that needed help, and the military used him to fight the other aliens. 1 grey alien who's kind. A girl's dad is an astranant, but they suspect her dad is a grey alien. no robot there.

It wasn't sci fi, it was more on earth. I remember the alien would listen to the girl, and she convinced the military not to kill the good alien. the military was like a warehouse.

The alien had no mouth, no ears, no nose. They have a human body and 6 eyes and are very tall. They don't go to space at all they stay on earth.

There's 1 episode where the father goes into space but didn come back because of an issue.

I watched it when I was 8. I can't find it. Sometimes, i think it's a dream.

What Animes do you Recommend Based on my Watch History?

So I know the title is weird but I was motivated by Jinshi from Apothecary Diaries.

Now I love romance animes especially ones that are slow burn and make the small moments feel like winning a marathon.

Here are the animes ive watched so far and loved

-Alya sometimes hides her feelings in Russian

-Apothecary Diaries

-My dress up darling

-Snow White with the Red Hair

-Yona of the Dawn

-My next life as a Villainess all routes lead to Doom

-Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts

-Konosuba

-The dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess

-im the Villainess so im taming the final boss

-Dan Da Dan

-Spy X Family

-Witch Hat Atelier

-im in love with the villainess

- ill bwcome a villainess that goes down in history

- Any Archdemons Dilemma: How to Love your Elf Bride

-Why Raeliana ended up at the dukes Mansion

-Sugar Apple Fairytale

-Ancient Magnus Bride

-Darling In The Franxx

-Toradora

-Maid Sama

-Kakuriyo: bed and breakfast for spirits

-Demon prince of Momochi House

-Kamisama Kiss

-Ouran Highschool Host Club

-Girlfriend Girlfriend

-Demon Slayer

-Wotokoi

-LovexLies

-Boarding School Juliet

-Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon?

-tomochan is a girl

-vampire dormitory

-Kaguya Sama Love is War

- Dont toy with me Miss Nagatoro

-the Shiunji Family Children

-Nina the Starry Bride

-Highschool DxD

-Food Wars!

-Fruits Basket

Anime that was Decent:

-The Duke of Death and his Maid

-Raven of the Inner Palace

-Hensuki-are you willing to fall in love with a pervert as long as shes a cutie?

-My love story with Yamada Kun at Lv999

-Cherry Magic

-Ace Attourney

-Hitirojime My Hero

-ice guy and his cool female colleague

Anime that I didnt really like :

-Horimiya

-Brothers Conflict

-Given

-Maken Ki

-The villainess is adored by the prince of the neighboring Kingdom

-Rent a Girlfriend

Now this is going to be super annoying but I only watch dubbed animes. My dyslexia is bad and I get Migraines from consistently reading subtitles I am willing to read suggested Manga tho! I currently have the entire collection of Let's Play and days with my stepsister.

Id love to hear your recommendations. Points added for Villainess type themes!

Trying to find my next power-slop anime

I love nuanced, clever, and sophisticated animes as much as the next guy, but right now I'm just looking for some overpowered, underestimated, nerdy mc who's power scales differently from everyone else.

I just finished the current season of Wistoria and it gave me the same feeling that Solo Leveling did, and I'm trying to chase that dragon once again. I know I'm kind of putting a loose definition around what I want but I feel like if you've seen some of these shows, then you'll know the genre I'm talking about

Here are the animes in this category (or close to this category, not all are the pure-power slop that others are) that I've already seen, any suggestions would be awesome!

- Solo Leveling

- Wistoria

- Blue Lock

- One Punch Man

- Kaiju No. 8

- Gachiakuta

Looking for Manga about a vampire girl who saves a boy in a church from a giant monster that ambushes them from behind the church window

The monster is large and snake like. It grabs them. She says i will save you if you become my familiar. She then unrolls a scroll which he signs.

I think she followed him around for a bit because she wanted his specific blood... but also monsters were targetting him/following him(specifically i think because his special type of blood)

I know she had on lots of rings and she umm has sisters who you go on missions with later in the story. I believe she sucks his blood in return...

Edit: Its a manga with no anime adap... going to be pretty darn hard to find if i had to guess it was from 2018-2020. Also its got its lewd scenes. And she does not use swords i believe her power was purification.

I cant remember if she and her other 2 sisters can turn into a monster or not ugh
