Hello everybody, I have three question to ask and looking for your opinion.
How long it usually take to get the feedback, can be more round or a decision will come after this ?
After interview, manager asked-earliest time of joining, for me that's December, will this late can affect of the decision.
Whole interview went well, except one question lastly asked about past mistake, which I could have delivered better way however I deliver the answer, can that have any impact?
Thank you.
I had an interview that went really well overall. I presented my work, answered the technical and behavioral questions well, and felt good about it.
At the end, they asked me about a mistake I had made. I explained that once I used the wrong measurement setup in the lab even though I was following the equipment manual. One interviewer said it sounded like I did not follow proper SOP. I explained that in our academic lab, using manuals and references was acceptable, and my professor was fine once I explained what happened.
The interviewer then said, “Oh, I got it, it was just my opinion.” After that, a senior interviewer asked when I am available to join?
Shall I take it as a positive sign ?
