treating trouble with spacial skills as something you “grow out of” is so dumb.

the question is: what adult behavior do you have absolutely no patience for and one of the top comments is having no spacial awareness.

I know this is directed at people who walk in the middle of the sidewalk etc. and I get it isn’t a personal dig at those with spacial comprehension issues. however- I still think it’s dumb to call this core issue in our disability a “childish” issue that can be grown out of. I personally have to concentrate pretty hard to walk in a truly straight line (lmao) and constantly get told I’m walking in front of people etc. and this translates to my driving a bit too unfortunately.

I originally left an annoyed comment on this comment saying people with nvld fear people like this guy who has a personal problem with people without spatial awareness but I realized it’s better not to cause an issue. however, my annoyance remains✌️

trying to decide if I do it or not (23m)

i’m 23 and I’ve wanted to get my facial hair lasered for almost as long as I can remember - I remember hearing ads for it on the radio and asking my parents if I could do it on my face. they wouldn’t take me at the time but now I finally have enough money to make my dream real.

this growth is after one day. I have a terrible skin reaction to razors. my skin is very sensitive and no matter how I shave it bleeds and breaks out. I am quite feminine looking which I like and am ok with (i’m also bi) other than the horrible beard shadow which never goes away…it makes me super insecure. i’m constantly using filters on to try and hide it in pictures. I’m a bit afraid of the pain and worry about hyperpigmentation etc

It isn’t particularly thick and I wonder if it’s dark enough to work well. the pics don’t really show how it looks exactly right, something about the phone camera, but want to know if you guys think it looks like I’d have success with laser.

edit: for context I don’t think I’ll ever look good with facial hair. I have always gone for the cute/pretty look over a more masculine one and enjoy being androgynous ish.

I’m a bi man and I date women by choice but not because I’m ashamed to be gay or want to be straight

kind of a rant, new to this sub so not sure if i’m feeling the vibes out right yet. I only seem to attract men who mistreat me or are genuinely psychological disasters. by contrast the few women I’m attracted to (I’m a bit more than 50% gay I’d say) are usually extremely lovely. it feels different with the two genders to be in love but it’s still love I’m sure of it, but I find it sad that genuinely I have not been in a non shitty relationship with a guy yet where I feel like I’m truly attracted to them AND I feel like they value me the same amount. I’m also not just hating on gay men to hate on them; I just have given up at this point and also get more attention from women for whatever reason even though i’m less attracted to fewer of them. also, I’m prob on the ace spectrum and have a low sex drive and women are generally more ok with this. not always, but often. I don’t know why this has to be this way— for some of my life I thought I was fully gay. I have known I’m not for many years now but I always saw myself marrying a man but it just seems unlikely at this point. I would be just as happy marrying a woman though. I just need men (at least the ones who find their way into my sphere) to treat each other more like people I guess. I don’t know what it’ll take

why can’t you change the font

pretty much the title. what if I don’t want to only use san francisco? feels pretty limiting and makes the entries feel boring. also, why is it that there isn’t a single apple application that knows how to let the user format pictures correctly?
