Next sketch in the series of my deep dive, head first, into DCC audiobooks. lol. Up to book 3 already. Who needs sleep?

There is nothing … & I mean nothing … like playing Dungeons & Dragons with a group you’ve been playing with for years … and you finally get revenge for an NPC that probably didn’t begin as meaning anything really to the story.

So … what you’re seeing here:

A Mapach Druid, an aasimar cleric … a rogue bard and a barbarian dwarf tackle a baddie in the Waterdeep campaign inside of his library.

He had pretty horribly murdered Nori, a friendly NPC noodle maker we befriended early in the campaign … who also worked for us at our tavern.

Flying crazy books … goldfish … Beholders … still never as satisfying as the “well how do you wanna do this?” Fr the DM.

It was … difficult … but man, it was cathartic.

What are some of your favorite moments of exacting revenge w/ your group over a beloved NPC’s death??
