Car Repo was I given correct information.

So I had my car repossesed-I am aware there will be judgement here which is fine I understand. Lengthy serious illness and getting back on feet.

The car was taken yesterday to auction lot-the woman I spoke to there told me reinstatement is possible but can't be discussed until they get insurance etc which I am doing today. That being said she said she is the only contact person at this point and if I contact the bank re lender it will only delay things. Everything I read online says to contact lender. Which is correct information? I

I am in NB , if that helps

How overt do rashes tend to be ? Photos included

So I have been having many symptons for months that I thought were stress / perimenopause.

Also aches and pains but I work in long term care and am fat so to be expected.

One thing was arm fatigue and trouble writing with pen at end of shift, and getting much more fatigued than usual at work. I was also starting to drop things and had developed almost daily heartburn and other GI issues.Still thought stress and likely distraction / somatic symptons.

Went on stress leave things seemed to be getting better then after a lenghty pool day and outdoor wedding it was like a switch was turned and I have been having rashes , deep aches in arms , headaches, SOB, going to the market and subsequent soup making put me out due to fatigue snd sore shoulders for example one day. I told myself the three months off work had deconditioned me. Some days better than others but also pain in weird places such as elbows or feet , my fingers etc. I hobble around some mornings bent over as well as in evenings which while I did often enough while working - 12 hour shifts and lifting people all day but that made sense , happening now not so much.

I also started getting hoarse/ croaky voice and tripping over words if talking too much , I’ve developed a slightly droopy eye that gets more pronounced as day goes on - needing water to swallow and other things that I told myself were dry mouth due to my adhd medications.

I thought initially roseaca because after first day in sun I started getting intense facial flushes several times a day but that has settled and while many of the rashes / skin issues can vary depending on sun exposure or time of day - a fairly distinct area over my cheeks and nose has set in. Initially i wondered if malar rash - but as soon i’m in sun and always by end of day it will fill in majority of face and nasal glabial folds.

I have been brushing things off and had decided I needed mental health help vs physical health ( as these things are greatly impacting my ability to go about daily life due to feeling like garbage and still thought possibly somatic ) but while talking to partner one evening started coughing and had a true syncope moment that left us both going wtf. After looking at photos from earlier that eve and seeing how pale my lips were I agreed to make md appt with family doctor and that is in two weeks as well as my return date to work which at this moment in time I can’t imagine myself having the energy for.

Pretty much everything can be tied back to being in sun meaning the two weeks post pool day I thought surely I had come down with something - and since then can see a definite connection in rashes, fatigue , pain that is related after other events that had me outside. I have started actively avoiding time in sun and can see an improvement.

Other random things have been an oincredibly itchy flaky scalp that resolved , some pins/ needles / numbness in face ans one day arm and leg that was enough I slapped both to make sure I had sensation , one side of my neck will turn red and puff up and while it goes down thats the one part of my body that isn’t symmetrical. Everything else will affect both sides. I have a massive swollen lymph node under chin that had resolved but is back as well as a hard fixed one on right side of neck at edge of hairline that has been consistent.

A google image search took me to a myositis page and initially I thought nah - as especially as some of mine that were similar were faint but the cluster are giving me pause. Am still open to the idea it could be something unrelated and to anyone who read this far- any insight genuinely appreciated.

The photos are all from different days over the past two months to show how much can vary and also photo of my back - the white spots were diagnosed as vitiligo many years ago. The mottled skin is inner knee area - I am aware mottled skin can be benign and while i get often - seems to be mostly constant in that area. Elbows and knees are to show redness the actual bony prominence have rough psoarias looking skin. Im not sure if able to accurately show in photos - but both index fingers have rough thicker skin spot on outer sides as well as thumbs and some areas on thighs.

Flare ups after being in Sun?

Hi I was diagnosed with IIH four years ago after having double vision that was initially intermittent until it was constant and it was like looking through a kaleidescope , intense headaches and neck pain. It didn't take long to get diagnosis as I had gone to optemetrist who said to go straight to ER. It did however take a while to get an LP and I had been on diamox slightly over a month by the time I had LP and stil had an opening pressure of 38-so I would have to assume it was fairly high initially hence the intensity of symptons.

Moving forward I have been off diamox for over two years now. Lately after spending a day at a pool and then an outside wedding in same week-I have been having a whole pile of odd symptons-deep facial flushing with intense heat several times a day ( always some sort of redness across face but it can wane in how deep it is- sometimes I looked burned, sometimes I look flushed , sometimes entire face, sometimes just the nose and cheeks etc ) but extremely uncomfortable with intensity it's like someone lit a fire under there and at one point happened while doing my hair and I saw the flushing spread. One side can be slightly hotter and puffier which is noticeable to those around me. I've also had joint pain- knees now fingers but also a deep ache in both arms and while I've been getting some tingling and numbness in both hands one arm more so and that tingling dead heavy feeling where you think your arm won't work but it still does has been kicking in and lasting for several hours some days from afternoon until bed. I've also been peeing more frequently, intense fatigue ( falling asleep in afternoon if sitting down and naps are unheard of for me ) my lips have been tingling with noticeable change in colour to more pale, purple discolouration above my eyes, sore throat, mottling on arms and legs, etc. To put it bluntly- I have felt like hot garbage for almost two weeks. I initally thought it was menopause related despite the sudden onset or rather where some of these things have been happening not like to this intensity and so consistently until these past two weeks.

I did notice via facebook memories that when diagnosed and what I call " when my eyes exploded " happened same week of summer and also similary after a pool day and other outside events ( my birthday week so being out and about more often ).

Is there a corelation there? I saw in a photo yesterday that one of my eyes is turned slightly inward with a slightly droopy eyelid and I noticed that in hindsight last time as well- and am having the same sort of headaches that are diffuse all over head, some neck soreness and blurry vision and intense waves of nausea- so I would have to assume I'm having another flare up. I see my doctor in six weeks and I will ask for a new consult to opthmaology etc.

Can anyone relate to what I'm feellng right now? Would love to hear any other similar experiences.

Question about OT pay in NB and Horizon

I just read through the thread on OT rates in NB-and based on that, I have a question?

Can someone explain to me in a simple way why as a horizon employee-our overtime is sectioned off into four weeks periods. Meaning they are already blocked off and OT only exist if you go over 150 hours in those four weeks. You could work 60 hours two weeks in a row for example but if the one leading up or following doesnt put over 150 there is no OT.

And where it says the OT can't be banked- for all of us doing 12's- they put our extra hours on our heavy weeks into levelling? and then pay it out on our short weeks. Also, we routinely bank OT ( by choice ).

I'm not complaining because OT is nice to have and we do get compensated for it-just curious if anyone could explain why this doesn't apply.

Also, while asking- how is it that Horizon gets away with not paying us the extra hour when clocks jump ahead LOL

Dementia friendly cleaning services

Does such a thing exist? I am having a very hard time having people come in to clean my mother's home who don't understand the nuances of this condition. The main problem is rearranging furniture or discarding things that then upset her- and also the lack of ability to communicate in a respectful manner. She is still mainly independent but does require help with things such as cleaning and task initation these days-and also struggles with word finding or mixing up words and that tends to either cause people to correct her in a way that upsets her or avoid speaking to her.

On that note, while the ideal situation would be a home care service that does companionship AND cleaning-I do not find the home care workers have any more training or ability to communicate effectively either.

Is this a dream or are the companies that do this. TIA.
