Just posted the final installment of my Franco Portugal locations series. I travel to Sintra and Lisbon and find some core Franco spots, including the waterlily pond from A Virgin Among The Living Dead.
This one was from when the custom shop was ramping back up in 2018. They did a lot of classic San Dimas guitars in custom colors. They made this one in Tangelo and a sister in Metallic Blue Ice. Alder body and quarter sawn maple neck w ebony fingerboard and the phenolic nut which is made from computer chipboard material. I believe there were 3 made of each color. Reminds me of an Allan Holdsworth model but has 21 frets and no tone knob or coil tap. One of my favorite guitars. I love the color. Its tangerine orange with a clear yellow pearlescent overspray
