Two complete opposite ends of the extended range spectrum. Both extremely weird.

1. On the left is a Wing Instruments Classic Guitar 7. Standard guitar scale… just with the lowest 5 frets chopped off. Instrumental Sfty 4 in the bridge.

2. On the right is a Hybrid Guitar Co. Thinline Tele Deluxe. Hybrid bass/guitar, meaning there are three output jacks: one for the bass strings (lower 3), one for the guitar (upper 5), and one for both. Position toggle and tone control for each set, and a mini toggle for split vs mono output mode.

Got this recently. I never had a holoflake finish before and didn’t realize how it practically lights up like a starry night when in a direct light.

What should I name her?

I love the Tiger Smokeburst finish. Sounds awesome too!

Picked this up from a shop on Reverb this year, new "old stock" 2022.

Got a great deal on this PRS Core McCarty in Holoflake finish. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after seeing it in the store, and the McCarty III pickups sound great! I might eventually switch to locking tuners, if I play it enough to matter - since right now I’m in too much awe/afraid of damaging it spend much time playing it. I’m joking (kind of), I know it was made to be played, but it is a magnificent work of art as well. I fully intend to carefully play the heck out of it and enjoy the sparkly nitro finish aging with me. Well done Paul Reed Smith.
