Hey guys, I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of Guitar after coming up on like a year, but my guitar doesn’t sound smooth. Is it the pick I am using or am I strumming too hard or all of the above?

For reference, I am using a .5 pic so super flimsy but it just sounds like it’s constantly ringing maybe that’s what Guitar is supposed to sound like lol

I’m 10 months in and I feel like my guitar has gotten a lot better but it’s time to clean it up. I don’t know if it’s my cord transitions not being clean or if it’s my strumming hand or both but something definitely sounds off. Is it the guitar it definitely sounds like the high east string is raining out.

This was my first time being able to pick up a guitar and just catch a random vibe still a beginner still definitely need to pick cords a lot cleaner, but for whatever reason I really enjoyed just messing around on the Guitar. I need your honest opinions on how bad it sounds or how good it sounds And what things I can work on next!
