What are y'all's thoughts on alt building sets for your LEGO city or similar projects?

I've always been very strictly LEGO.. I see some printed parts and alt builds that seemingly look really good.. but idk how well they would hold up in or around an authentic LEGO city..

I'm not really a snob about these things often.. but curious of the opinions from other collectors, enthusiasts and AFOL.. I want to keep the "integrity" of my city.. sounds silly but.. yeh.

Tons of comments yesterday through FB were full of so much hate and racism. When you try to call these people out however admin will ban you from speaking up. Why is it okay for people to be racists to others in their community for simply asking about events on Juneteenth but it is not okay to shame the racists publicly???
