Hi! I am 8 weeks and have been instructed to start tapering my PIO.

I’m on 1.5 mL daily.

I go to 1 mL daily for my 9th week.

I go to 1 mL every other day for my 10th week and stop right at conclusion of week 10.

I’m feeling nervous to taper! I’m not on any other form of progesterone. I had 3 miscarriages before starting IVF (6wk, 10wk, 13 wk).

Was anyone else’s taper similar?

Did anyone have a lot of lab work done in the first several weeks of pregnancy? like more than the standard hcgs and hormones.

I want to make sure I’m staying in a safe limit, but a provider wants some antibody tests and things like ferritin/vit D to make sure they’re still increasing. And I’m requesting a platelet count to make sure my lovenox is treating me okay!

would love to hear from some who has a lot of lab work and had good outcomes ☺️
