What foundations do you use that are safe for you and don’t trigger your PD?
My PD reacts to everything violently so I don’t know where to start! Maybe you have some suggestions!
I have a history of recurrent facial outbreaks like the one in the photo, mainly in the same area near my nose and occasionally on my chin. The lesions appear suddenly within 1–2 days and are preceded by tingling, burning, and local sensitivity, followed by clusters of small blisters that become itchy and later form crusts. Each episode lasts about one week, and I have had approximately 6–10 episodes over the last 6 months. The episodes seem to be triggered by stress, alcohol consumption, smoking, and sun exposure. The lesions only appear on my face and sometimes are triggered even by new skincare products. I can tolerate only 5 products on my skin - cleansing balm from geek&gorgeous, micellar water from garnier for sensitive skin, a cleansing lotion from avene, cicaplast baume from la roche posay and a repairing cream with zinc and copper from uriage. That’s it. Everything else creates blisters like the one in the photo or little white bumps. A dermatologist diagnosed me with rosacea, but she didn’t know what to say about these lesions. I think they might be herpes simplex, but I didn’t find much information about these kind of outbreaks on the face…. So maybe someone here had at least a remote similar experience and can help me identify it!!
I’m desperate and I don’t know how to treat them!! They last around 1 week and they leave red marks 😔😔
My face is doing really badly… overall and it really pains me to deal with such a thing..
