Five years sober today. I never thought I’d make it to 30, and now I’m looking at 40 with a house, a dog, and actual peace.

I spent my 20s in a very dark place. Jails, rehabs, the whole cliché. I remember being 25 and praying I wouldn’t wake up. Today I woke up early, made coffee, and watched the sunrise with my wife. It’s not a dramatic life, but it’s mine. If you’re struggling today, it can get better. It really can.
