Tell me a time you almost/had screwed up your academics or job.

I recently had to apply for a deferred online exam (ProctorU) because I didn't have the foresight to test my equipment and found out 1 hour into trying to get into my exam that my device wasn't compatible. I missed my chance to take the exam. That exam was 40% of my grade and I already lost 3% so that would have given me D in the course, and likely would have wrecked my chances of getting into advanced program courses like Pharmacy and Respiratory Therapy. I did get approved so I will be rewriting my exam, but yeah, that was completely my fault, no excuses, and I just want to see if anybody is in the same boat (A boat named "Oh No! The consequences of my own actions!"). I hope this made somebody else feel better, and prove that no matter how bad you screwed up, there is always somebody who screwed up more.

Job applications

You know it, I know it. The job market has been like throwing my time and effort into a bottomless void and hoping it will spit something out. In any case I'm applying through VIP recruitment and they keep telling me to attach my transcript but not my resume or cover letter. Is it just implied that I should attach those, or do they truly just want my transcript? Specifically I'm applying to TA positions as a second year (with an A in all my courses so far) should I just give up or keep trekking along? BTW can I just say, having to write an entire cover letter for each job posting is hell 😭 does anyone know of an easier way?
