Should I do Qurbani?
I'll try to keep it short and simple. No one in my household is eligible for qurbani, but the elders have been doing it every year so far Alhamdulillah. This year everyone in the house is financially incapable of doing so. Since I am Young and earn, I was planning to do qurbani but I have university fees coming up and I need to pay it right now to complete this semester as finals are nearby.
I was conflicted whether I should do qurbani while taking a loan(most likely credit card), even though that would likely financially trouble me in the near future. I want to distribute the meat to needy families.
My thought process is that even though I am aware doing sacrifice under these circumstances isn't mandated, however doing so will please God and he will increase me in finances and in his eyes as well.
Please recommend me as to what I should do. Thanks in Advance!
