Ozempic Price in Cork

My doctor prescribed Ozempic for weight management. Boots quoted me €140 for the 0.5 mg pen. Has anyone in cork found it cheaper at another pharmacy? If so, where and roughly how much did you pay?

IRL application without Ecctis

Hi all,

I need to apply for ILR by Friday to keep my job, but I'm still waiting for my ECCTIS outcome. I applied for ECCTIS on July 6. However, I didn't realize that they also needed to verify my passport, and that wasn't completed until July 21.

I'm feeling really desperate at the moment and was wondering if anyone has any advice. At work, I was told to go ahead and apply for ILR without the ECCTIS certificate, but I thought it was a mandatory requirement.

The current status of my ECCTIS is "reviewing" and I do not believe my English proficiency will be completed by Friday.

Passed the Life in the UK Test

I just passed the Life in the UK Test!

I think I got quite lucky, as there were no questions about famous sportspeople, artists, painters, or other notable figures. The questions were pretty varied, but I had the impression that many of them focused on history (the Reformation, the Tudors, the First World War, the Spanish Armada, voting and age) and the UK's political and justice systems in the UK.

Good luck to anyone taking it soon!

Council launches probe into developer as homeowners left without vital EV charging points

Fingal County Council launched an enforcement process in recent weeks.

That’s because the developer, Glenveagh, was to install EV infrastructure of some kind at “all car parking spaces” in the estate, as part of An Coimisiún Pleanála’s stipulations when it granted planning for the latest tranche of houses.

Mortgage Protection - Help

Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations for a trustworthy insurer that offers mortgage protection at a reasonable price.

I was planning to go with BOI, but they are charging me more than €100 per month because I have asthma and high cholesterol. They also requested a letter from my GP as part of the application process.

I would appreciate any suggestions for insurers that may be more competitive.

I have also come across the online broker Hello.ie and Royal London Ireland. Has anyone had experience with either of them? Are they reputable companies?

Thanks

Ard Griffin (questions on flooring, estate and size)

I recently purchased a house in Ard Griffin and was wondering if any current residents could share their experiences of the estate.

I would also appreciate any recommendations for flooring suppliers, as I am currently exploring options. How much should i expect to pay for flooring?

I bought the 3 bed (100 m2) house and am starting to worry that it might feel a bit small, particularly the master bedroom. If anyone has moved into this house type, I would love to hear how you have found the space in the house. Does it feel comfortable once furnished?

I would also appreciate any advice regarding how to furnish the living room area. I am struggling to figure out the best layout because of the radiator in the middle of one of the walls.

Thanks!
