Catalytic converter replacement on 2017

I have a 2017 Camry I’ve been driving since 2018. 220k miles (my husband and I traveled a lot, and I drove routinely for work) and religious about maintenance. Recently was throwing P0420 code, confirmed that the cat converter is failing. No other indicators of anything amiss other than a sort of sluggish acceleration.
I’m being quoted $1600 total for replacement (parts, labor, taxes) and I’m leaning towards it over getting a new car, but not fully sure… thoughts? Anyone done the same under similar conditions?
