Sincere Engineer! Oh thank you RF
I'll be right there singing along with ALL OF YOU!

Brendan Kelly's at 5 with the Broadways (2013), the Falcon (2016), Lawrence Arms (2005, 2010, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2021, 2024), Slapstick (2012), and solo (2010, 2012).
John Reis is at 4 with Drive Like Jehu (2015), Hot Snakes (2014, 2019), Plosivs (2023), and Rocket From the Crypt (2013, 2022).
There are many 3s. But I can't think of anyone else at 4 or 5. Josh Freese? I don't know his history enough to know when he was in some bands. Walter Schreifels would be at 4, but I don't think he was with Youth of Today when they played. Who else is at 4 or more?
When we were all guessing headliners on here before the lineup was announced, Muse came up a lot (as I feel like they do most years.) Some people were really pushing for the idea that Riot needed more headliners with production values like theirs. I haven’t listened to Muse much since their big three albums, so I didn’t really think much of it.
But all that fervor on here me to gamble on a cheap seat to their St Louis show. Holy shit. And not just because of all of the lights and lasers and screens and smoke and shit - they sounded great and they played a perfect setlist (okay, little sad they cut Resistance and Stockholm from the show before, but glad we got Map of the Problematique in the process.) I’m only so much of a fan, but honestly, one of the best shows overall ever seen.
It got me thinking of a lot of great shows I hit because of the discourse on here that I wouldn’t have otherwise - Reignwolf, Wargasm, Swingin Utters, The Lillingtons, Peaches. So thanks for the recs over the years - they really paid off last night.
My partner and I are going to riot fest this year and I’ve had shit luck trying to find a hotel that will let you book if you’re under 21 (we’re both 18+ but not yet 21) Does anyone have any recommendations or tips? Any help would be appreciated :))
Edit: we found an airbnb to stay in. Thank you all for your ideas!
Matt Skiba got in a motorcycle accident a week ago and messed up his leg... unsure if this is related.

Nas- Illmatic
Tool- I'm not sure which one I would want most.
Has anyone seen them live? I’m watching live videos of all the acts I don’t know and these guys blew me away.
There are 6 Canadian bands playing this year and it seems like a wasted opportunity to not have them all on the same stage. Give me a 6 band Canadian stage that would draw you all day. Era, genre and current existence do not matter.
This would be my ultimate La Poexe>SNFU>Eric's Trip>Peaches>Skinny Puppy>Tragically Hip
hi all, this is my first riot fest and I had tx for fri and sat since the line up is pretty cool for the price. Sunday is meh or at least not my vibe except Patti smith …
I would like to ask what to expect in the riot fest in terms of vibe and atmosphere and attendance? what should I prep for as a solo traveler living outside Chicago and a first time fest-rioter … thanks in advance to all.
I’ve been listening through the lineup for the last couple weeks and threw together a playlist I made. It’s 3 songs from every artist that I liked/thought represented their style. I sorted it by day, from bottom of the lineup to the top so it would be easy to split up by day for anyone not doing all 3. Apologies in advance for missing your favorite song, I pretty much just put discographies on shuffle until I found a few songs I liked. Definitely am open to suggestions for improvements.
I don’t care about the free food and drink, I just want to get a god viewing spot for the main stage without too much of a fight ultimately.
I'm thinking about going on Saturday. Bunch of music that I want to hear. My question for y'all is:
What Act Are You Most Excited For:
What Act are you definitely missing:
What Act Should People Not Sleep on:
As the title reads, my mental health went in the shitter, and I am receiving help via Lexapro. Lexapro makes me a sweaty bitch and me and summer are gonna have a time this year. Not new to Riot Fest at all, but new to Riot Fest while taking an SSRI.
Has anyone used the Ninja Chill Pill, or do you have any personal fan recs I can bring in to the fest? I’ll obviously have my camelbak and some liquid IV packets, will wear a sun hat, and try to hang in the shade as much as I can.
Open to any and all advice and experiences!
Thanks friends!
My sister and I are planning on attending this year for the second time. First time we went was back in 2021 and we did GA and had a blast. Considering doing VIP but was curious if it was worth it.
Think I’m traumatized from Warped Tour last summer in VIP at Long Beach because it was extremely oversold 😅
I can't imagine vibing to them at 3pm in the daylight. I just can't imagine listening to Reaper in the bright sun. I don't think they will be high enough on the roster to get a spot later in the evening. :(
Higher or lower than 10, how many people are going to be dressed as a banana this year?
Brings our confirmed album play tally to four alongside Taking Back Sunday, Descendents and the Suicide Machines
So are we only gonna have 4 bands do full album sets at RF 2026? Or are these the first 4 they’re announcing?
Hi
For context this is my first year attending along with 3 of my friends. We all got vip and I purchased all our tickets together. I was wondering if I was supposed to put each of our names somewhere? In my order page in tixr it has my name for the attendee name on all the tickets. Will this be an issue?
