Hi. Sad topic but my elderly mother (lives in Portage Park) has an elderly cat who has been fading (down to 4-5lb) and it's sadly that time to put her down. I was going to take her to the vet but my mom asked if there were any vets that do house calls for euthanasia? She had one on the south side, but obviously a little too far.

If not, what are some options that charge reasonable rate for euthanasia on the north side? I used to take my cats to the Cat Hospital of Chicago but they price gouge on everything.

SFGA is our home park. Currently, my oldest son and I have legacy gold plus memberships (I think we pay $65 each). My youngest son did his first thrill rides in Japan this year at Universal Osaka but has no membership for SF. We are headed to Gurnee later this week and I'm thinking through the options with the current sale.

I'm happy that the Fast Lane prices dropped from 1k to $699 and was going to get those for me and my oldest. I see that the FL is for all parks if you have a prestige pass. So, should I dump my gold plus and upgrade to the prestige? Or just get my little guy a gold membership or pass to cover the rest of this and next year? I'd probably get him fast lane during next year's sale as I'm unsure of how much coaster time he'll spend yet.

We are going to start chasing sports stadiums next year, so I figure we might actually get to another park outside of SFGA. We love our home park and visit ~4-6x/year (we'll hit FF twice this fall). We don't and most likely wouldn't use all of the other perks (e.g. free drinks).

My gut is to upgrade to prestige (pass or membership?) for the 3 of us and buy FL for me and my oldest. I welcome your help in thinking this through.

Hi. We're supposed to be headed to Banff next Friday for 12 days. I see the earlier post from today saying people had to cut their trip short and at the same time see some awesome photos being posted? How is it looking? I have been tracking the fires and smoke projections.

After a sad but necessary Portillo's lunch, my family and I were discussing a party catered with some top italian beef. I live on the N side of the city. Where is the best place to get a nice catered italian beef-heavy meal? Thank you, great food minds!
