Luneau does look like the craftier more well rounded Dman, but Noah Warren has a solid game and he’s been putting up points. what is the consensus here?
Everyone is talking about how the $18M hurts the ducks cap space and how Leo isn’t worth $18M, both are true (currently). I do believe Carlsson has a high, albeit not guaranteed, likelihood of becoming worth that money, but that’s a huge risk considering the amount of money.
my question is how do Philly fans feel? this cap would hurt the Flyers too, maybe not in the immediate term like it would the ducks, but still it’s a huge contract for any team to take on.
It is a pretty unanimous opinion that 4 1sts is not worth Leo Carlsson if you plan on drafting with them. so the question becomes, how do we make the 1sts worth it? the obvious answer is using them as trade capital or keep them and use our firsts for a similar offer sheet to another player.
Verbeek must be thinking the same thing. If I am Verbeek I am calling any team that is willing to part with a 1C player or something. The answer I’ve seen floating around is offer sheeting Bedard with the extra picks but of course that’s risky as the Hawks would have a chance to match.

I don’t scroll this sub that often anymore, but I noticed blinks social media posting a bunch of TOYPAJ shit and the anniversary of it is next Friday. I’m assuming just a merch drop but it would be cool if they did something more like release the bonus tracks on streaming platforms or something.
I had the part “don’t leave, don’t leave her” stuck in my head for days and eventually a song idea came out of it. The pre-chorus has similar words and melody as that part, but the song as a whole ended up being a starkly different vibe. love how it turned out!
I see people on social media talking shit about us being bandwagon fans because they’re suddenly seeing a ton of ducks flags on cars only now that we’re in the playoffs, but like, that’s what they are meant for lol at least that’s always been the impression I’ve been under. Maybe I’m wrong.
Players have so much respect for him (not just our players too, players were interested in signing here specifically to play for him) and he seems to be such a genuine dude who knows how to form and maintain positive relationships with players and staff around him. Its easy to stay quiet when something bad is happening especially when you weren’t involved. Its hard to speak up and put yourself at risk of retaliation. It was a dumb mistake he made in the past, but no one can convince me that he isn’t a genuinely good dude and that he isn’t genuinely remorseful for not speaking up. I think we are very lucky to have him and I don’t think the continued amount of genuine hate he gets from people is justified. He paid his dues, people should move on and let him move on.
