Wraparound prescription sunglasses

I've been looking at getting prescription sunglasses. Regular sized sunglasses generally look ridiculous on me so for many years I've worn Oakley Fives Squared which are wraparound glasses. I tried to get prescription sunglass lenses in these a few weeks ago but when the lenses arrived there was something slightly off about them. The place I got the lenses assured me they were the correct prescription and I could see through them properly but it felt like my eyes were slightly strained and each time I'd move my eyes it would take slightly longer than normal to focus. I was able to return them and get a refund and they did say that it's possible that this is just the limitation of using lenses in wraparound frames as the lenses in these frames sit at a slightly different angle to the face than regular glasses which are more parallel.

Has anyone else managed to get prescription wraparound sunglasses that work and if so where did you get them from?

Psych evaluation before MMA surgery

I'm looking at having MMA surgery for sleep apnea in the coming months but before the date is booked the surgeon requires all his patients to have a psych evaluation. I've consulted with a couple of OMFS surgeons and it seems not all mandate this.

Has anyone else been required to have this done prior and if so what sort of stuff do they ask?

Using chlorine bleach to remove blue dye run - good/bad idea?

A few weeks ago I was washing white 100% cotton bedsheets and face clothes and accidentally included a dark blue pillowcase in the wash - first time that's happened in over 20 years! Some of the dye ran and now all the white fabric is baby blue. I've tried soaking the items overnight in oxibleach and then washed as normal but the colour didn't budge. I also tried soaking them in powdered detergent overnight too but it had no effect. I then tried Rit Colour Remover twice. The first time it did remove some of the colour but the second time had no effect. I'm now considering trying chlorine bleach. Is this a terrible idea? Not sure if it would likely damage the material or turn it yellow. Is there anything else I could try that I haven't already done? TIA!

Do most people who have MMA for sleep apnea have CCW too?

A question to those who have had MMA surgery for sleep apnea/UARS/sleep disordered breathing: was counterclockwise rotation part of your surgery?

Anyone had MMA without needing braces first?

I've got sleep apnea, tried the various non-invasive treatments already such as PAP and MAD and they help a little but not to the extent that I'm able to function normally again so I'm now considering MMA. Already consulted with a surgeon who has confirmed I am a suitable candidate. He mentioned that from his perspective I could have the surgery done without having braces for several months beforehand. I then went to see an orthodontist who said that in his view everyone who has MMA should have braces first.

Curious if anyone has had it done without having braces beforehand and if so how did it go?

Apologies in advance if this isn't the correct place to post this.

I'm waiting for a referral letter from a consultant in the UK in order to see another doctor. It's been six weeks so far and I've received nothing yet. I've spoken to the doctor's secretary a few times and been told the doctor is very busy, etc. I've also been promised it by a certain date on two occasions so far but again nothing has materialised.

Is it normal for something like this to take many many weeks? I don't want to push it too hard with the secretary if this type of scenario isn't unusual. Note this is a private doctor, not the NHS.
